A movie based on Freelancer storyline x'D

  • Hmmm, running into some problems.....


    I have just been able to understand only a few things from the .thn files and able to move cameras to different positions while facing the main object as stated to focus on in the mission.ini files.


    I want to ask is there a limit to the amount of ships that can be allowed to be active in the game?


    I am attempting to add Liberty Cruisers to the Battleship Colorado formation but when I code them to [Msnformation] block it won't spawn.


    Right now it is able to spawn only if I have Liberty fighters in a formation with the Battleship, which is 16 liberty navy fighters that are escorting the battleship as it jumps in from the tradelane out of west point.


    I hope I can get some decent stuff built together first then release the mod here so you guys can have a look and make some comments about how it is as I continue to try and make the movie.


    This first version mod is that it is still an interactive mission 1, just more action with addition of capital ships, fighters and major adjustments to the scene of the battle.


    The first version mod will modify the mission activity as far as to the point where the order ships are destroyed and rheinland ships disperse into the different bases. From then on it will continue orginally as it is programmed until I begin editing more.

  • Using the same code that is used to set up the Liberty Cruisers, I was able to make them spawn at a position using Spawnship, but applying it to spawnformation doesn't work for some reason even though I have it put in the same manner as the fighters.


    Anyway, it will be kept like that for now and two will be present as Liberty security for the Rheinland ships.


    Order ships are boldly up to 15 in an attack run on the Rheinland battleship, plus a reinforcement of 15 more after the destruction of Battleship Donau (The big issue to be facing is that Trent in his voice refers it to Rheinland Cruiser)


    There are up to 16 Liberty elite fighters escorting Liberty Dreadnought Battleship Colorado as this capital ship travels from westpoint to Planet manhattan, it doesn't work in a 100% manner because only 11 fighters manage to synchronize tradelane jump with the Battleship. The rest left behind are forced to do a runaround to the start to dock for the jump, by that time, those fighters have no need to engage anything... got to work that out too.

  • I want to upload what I have done so far, but I got a little bit of a concern about the voices that I have created myself. Just the issues about the whole cyber world that hear me talk in this game and how it could potentially make me feel unsafe being that my voice is accessible to the internet.


    I would be appreciative if I can morph my voice better somehow, because either way, to me it sounds dull and doing a simple low tone or high pitch tone doesn't make it that pleasant.

  • It could take a a long while because there are many complexities in the coding especially the .thn files...


    just getting another .thn file to rotate around a rheinland cruiser escort. Next thing, have to go and focus the camera on Trent's and King's ships from their rear in a good way to look good
