Hey guys,
I remember that someone who was banned from a FL server (reason: lagging) explained that he didn't lag but used the Sabre warp technique, and he also described how it worked, but i couldn't find any informations about it on the web. Has this been taken off the internet to reduce the usage of this bug / technique?

Hmmm.... The only thing remotely similar to this phenomenon was the so-called "Subspace Warp Drive" of the Sabre XR, a Sabre mod featuring a Sabre with more than normal armor and weapons. The "Drive" was activated by killing the engine, then the Sabre XR will coast along at speed 1000, stopping only when the throttle was adjusted.
I'm pretty sure I know what your talking about, but since i'ts been about one year since I've played freelancer, i'll need a day or to to get everything reinstalled and set up again then I'll get back to you with an answer.
