REQUEST: Faction Creator Porgram-EDIT: Waitin for 3 dayz for an answer...hlp plz!!!!!

i know this GreyWolf...i just wanted to know if anyone can make a program or if there is a program maker besides c++ that is relatively easy to run...

I was planning to make such a program. I´m still learning C++, but I can already make "basic" programs. ("OMG, I can make a calculation tool that allows you to do stuff with a fixed set of numbers!" lol ^^, at least it was good for some laughs...) Still, I´ll start on it Wednesday. And I´ll give it a GUI to boot. At least I´ll try to ^^. (could take me a week to finish it though. Who knows... ^^) -- "War is going well" -- Phobia III, Edge of Humanity

MegaMan-x257 im not exactally sure...lol! i was so disorganized that i got lost and screwed up my freelancer so i had to restore all my backups. also while were on the subject of editing...how do u use the damn UTF Editor? its relatively easy looking but its really hard to figure out how to use.

a faction creator would be a great tool, i too have been doing this manually and when you need to addin almost 30 new factions it becomes a task. and now i have a bug which makes the game crash and i cant find it manually. so a programme like this would be really good right now.

Hey! If this program is created, plz let us know! it would take a lot less time with a program than manually, and it would take weeks off my mod... Spaz..... Whats the dead-end you have run into?? What you mustn´t do straight away to a New Faction (Or and old one) is add New Ships until you are 100% sure of EVERYTHING you are doing. I can´t give much help as New Factions is really what I wanted to keep to myself, as I´m now planning some really daring things with them that no-one (And that I think includes Reynen) has done before!!

Yeah...does anyone know of the progress of the editor...? I wanto make it and I can do it real quick.. cause basicly its just adjusting ini`s, but i ain`t a modder and i still haven`t got a tutorial about how to do it! IF YOU CAN GIVE A PRECISE MANUAL THEN I CAN MAKE THE PROGRAM (btw, this is the second time i said this *sight*)

And with precise don`t say something like then arrange them in blabla.ini, well you have to do it someway... but i can`t remmeber how <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>, OK???

ok i have a problem...i have been editing the ini´s all wrong *rolls eyes* so im not sure on how to make it work. The origional post should help you to a point. SpAz
