Some people consider flaming/kos/dock camping/insulting/newb killing/cheating/modding/hacking fun. Sadistic as it is, FL gives such people a wonderful opportunity to enjoy themselves at others´ expense.

This is why on the Brow server we set up rules whereby wars could be won, and systems could be officially ´taken´. Anyone could have felt free to reject those rules, but then they would have been missing out on the fun The last battle held, had about 20 different participants, and was pretty much the funnest battle i´ve been in to date in the game of freelancer. This of course required a group of people able to agree on something, and a group of people who obeyed the rules they had agreed to.

Please disregard what Corwin says - He rants about NEO modding, flames us on our boards, flames us on other boards when he gets banned from our boards, and even goes so far as to harass me via email... All because he was on our KOS list. And while he is doing all of this he constantly screams that we need to &quot;Get a life.&quot;

Ironically Corwin is recognized as a staunch modder (cheater) himself. I suspect he´s more irritated by Neo´s hardline VS cheating than anything else.

yes i mod , on servers that allow it , unlike other people i know i have two versions of freelancer installed , one modded , one unmodded and i use a version depending on where i play I mod for one simple reason , because i can as far as neo goes , they mod on unmodded servers . also just to prove my point a neo showed up on Calgary , and guess what , he had an uberhull (armor) lasers and an ubershield, somuch for neo not modding

You seem to forget that all of those emails were replies to mails that had been sent to me from you, in which you complained about getting banned from the NEO forum. Here´s a little snippet of some of the trash he sent me. A war over the internet gives us something to do when we are bored. It also gives a clan another purpose.

Let us take a few things in consideration here a. I did not post your email address in a public forum , you on the other hand don´t seem to possess the comon decency to give others the same courtesy b. My last message to you did not contain the words OMG it was merely a request to stop emailing me c. you put the emails in the wrong order , my first email to you was the one sentence telling you that banning a critical voice was a sad thing to do d. freedom of speech includes taking critique e. I do not scream , in this case i used captial letters to emphasize f. unlike you and your clan i do not use rethoric g. unlike you and your clan i do not go arround yelling insults to people on yet another public forum (Elite server in this case) I sincerely doubt that parents of 10 to 12 yr old children would appreciate that your clan teaches them words like A**rap*r , MotherF***er and the like , It is about time you realize that any server can host very young children that do not need to be exposed to that kind of language If you feel that you need to reply to this feel free to do so , but I doubt there can be any reply to it since proof exist in this forum of all the above mentioned.

A war would involve intelligent moves and counter moves , since there is a large lack there of from the side of NEO i doubt you can call this a war At best you can call this a debate opposing rethoric with common sense
