  • Hey Crabtree, I just want to say that I think WTS is the best compilation mod out there, and have been anxiously anticipating V1.2, checking your developmentstate webpage for progress. This mod has the best ship designs I´ve seen in a Freelancer mod, superb detail, and all those who had a part in their creation are very talented. Haven´t had any problems yet, the mod has worked perfect since installation, and after reading the posts in this topic I guess I must be lucky. This mod has given me reason to play through the game again (and believe me, that´s saying something with all the hours I have given to this game), and just wanted to let you know that your hard work is being appreciated, keep it up!

  • Well, some bugs discovered. 1.Tradelane from Kharam to Dhouwa outpost crashes server. I tried several times with same result. 2. The Phoenix fighter cost 10 mill+ while the Minbari Cruiser is less then half. 3. Minbari Flyer takes 350 cargo, the card says 750. 350 cargo takes half the hold, something is taking up the rest of the hold. And there´s something wrong with the hardpoints. 4. Vorlon Transport takes 500 cargo, just as before. The card says 875. Apart from this, it´s all very nice and well done. I have been around most of it, and met some "old" friends. They were as happy as ever to see me, lol. Looking forward to continue my journey.

  • My dear friends... i installed Sdk, Flmm beta 9 and the mod + the bugfix and nothing change so i´m still a little lose what shall i do B4 this Mod will work i´m geting despera!!! .oO(sry 4 my Eng)

  • hi folks, well i think this is aproblem with the Savegames in SinglePlayer folder located in c:my documentsmy gamesfreelanceracctsingleplayer, move them to an othe location so that the folder is empty, yours starting probs should be solved then. i´ll be back soon

  • Crabtree - tell them in a readme to use FLMM´s function of first - deleteing autosave, and then second, using the tools option again inside FLMM, use the &quot;go to save games&quot; and simply select all and delete. I say this, because (<b>as usual </b>) it seems that 90% of poeple posting will be those that just need to do this and use the sdk or reinstall FL. By the way, this isn´t aimed at Crabtree at all - but to everyone else who is posting about a crash before actually playing the game. DO this, and it will work.

  • @ chips Thats it. Thanks for this solution. Autosave deleted, savegames saved on a different folder. And now it works! @ ig2000 Had the same problem. Follow the solution that chips has posted!! Delete autosave (in the FLMM) and transfer your save

  • Fixed... I just reinstalled everything, cause wasnt working by just deleting savegames... Now is working fine with OpenSPv1... I crashed me to the desktop in Hiigara too, but I went around that... Instead of go to dock with the tradelane, I just did all the way with the cruise engines... <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

  • Hi Crabtree, you have increased the cruise speed. Actually it is impossible for me to win the race against Hovis in the storyline (with cruise engine the speed is too fast to hit the gates, without I´am too slow). Any idea? Thanks Lars

  • <b>Crabtree </b> Crash when docking with tradelane = encounter parameter at other end usually, or the end your docking at. Its cause it tries to spawn something. Edited by - Chips on 2/17/2004 11:57:45 AM

  • 1.2 bugs found Docking in stations with Moorings: I can get just about any ship docking{Flier-Sabre} using the Mooring animation even though the ship is no where near one. Usually I position the ship for the dock for a quick entery but its forced to use another entery and uses the mooring. It looks like a normal dock thats gone wrong so if you see someone quiting and rejoining quickly this could be why. Quantum Torpedo´s: Dont track Nomads or Shadow ships so are more likely to Miss. Also they need nerfed, say to use power. At the moment I´ve got my Sabre using 2 and between that and any long range weapon I can remove half a wave of ships before they even get within firing distance. btw thanks for changing the jump holes back to normal again, but how about the Ping Ball Cruise Speed?

  • Well, I followed Chip´s instructions and I still get the following error when I try to activate the mod in FLMM: Error: problem activating ´WTS-World-V-1-2-Final´ This was only the test run, so no files were changed (besides being decompressed). Look in the log for more details. the log at the bottom of the FLMM acreen reads: Error: problem activating ´WTS-World-V-1-2-Final´ on test run Error: Unable to find a dest in ´C:Program FilesMicrosoft GamesFreelancerexefreelancer.ini´ ... so, now I tried &quot;restore backups&quot; in tools. The WTS installed further but ended with the following error: An error occured during the copy of the mod dll to the mod directory Please check the EXE directory to see if the dll is still there So... when I did that I was able to turn on FL and go to the MP list of servers. I connected to the crabtree server... which promptly crashed me back to my desktop. The server said to activate the WTS-World patch and the ghost ring mod. Well, the WTS-patch seems no-where to be found. The Ghost docking ring mod comes up incompatible with WTS mod. 3 questions: 1. Does this mod currently work? a. It is possible that there is some compatibilty issue that is not posted and should be. b. If it does... how? 2. Where is this &quot;WTS patch&quot; that crabtree´s server refers to. a. If it doesn´t exist, please remove the reference to avoid further confusion. b. If it does still exist... is it needed? ...and does it work? If so... how? 3. Why is the Ghost Docking RIng listed on Crabtree´s server as being needed when it is actually incompatible? a. If that mod no longer has to be activated serarately, please remove that reference to avoid further confusion. b. If it is needed... well, it´s not compatible (see ques #1). c. Is there, then, a different Ghost Docking Ring Mod that we should know about? d. If so, where can we download it so that we can use this mod? Any help from crabtree would be appreciated. Thanks!   • @ CrabTree Hi There still seems to be a problem with just entering Hiigara, My friend started a server and everything is installed to the letter even the bug fix. But as soon as someone goes into Hiigara seems like 2 minutes later server crash

  • Yep, did all of that (I´m one of those rare few who RTFM). Know others who´ve had the same problem. Also know several who´ve had a problem with it lagging in SP (didn´t try that, myself, though). What I´ll do is delete it and check back in a few months for the next version. Can´t wait to try it out! I am sure it will be great! Thanks for trying to help, though.   • issues in Minbar: Trade lane ends are too close to <b>Most </b> of the Planets, if you join a lane 3 or 4 rings from a planet you hit the planet on exiting the lane as you still have more speed than normal on exiting and come out further than normal. Shields to be bought there are all on the NPC values <b>Regeneration 1 - Energy use 10 </b> so not useable. A server I use has had 3 server crashes while in this system now, last time only 2 people in the server my self and another in Dresden.
