History of TLR

  • Hey there SnS. You back for a while or just taking a breather? Welcome back in any case.

  • Sorry guys, I´m history. I´m part of the annuls of TLR lore. I only entered this thread to begin with because it was originally linked from the news items on the front page. Otherwise, I would never have known about it. Normally I just check up on a few FL mods then go away. ___________________________________________________________ Sir Spectre giving the Spammysburg Address on 5/13/2004 22:21 PST: 12 posts and 2 days ago, we brought forth on this forum a new direction, conceived in spam and dedicated to the preposition that all posts are created useless. Now we are engaged in a great civil disobedience testing whether that thread or any thread so conceived and so dedicated can long endure. We are met on a great forum of that nonsense. We have come to dedicate a portion of that forum as a final resting-place for those topics that gave of their importance that spam might live. It is altogether fitting and proper that we should do this ... blah blah blah, spam spam spam.

  • @Gp, yes, what a wonderful way to prove me wrong, by misspelling and being inconsistent with the proper form of the word "epitome." <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.

  • I´d like to take a moment to thank all of you who have contributed to this thread. I honestly didn´t think it would last so long but it appears to be a popular topic. I´d like to venture that this is valuable information for n00bs to have, so they know what it is they are representing when they become a member of this prestigeous site. Anyone else here think it would be valuable to have a compilation of this information stored somewhere in a more permanant format? Perhaps Sir Spectre could produce a narrative or play on the topic...?

  • "Sorry guys, I´m history" and history is infinitely malleable, is it not?

"for once, i`ll actually tell you what i was thinking; but maybe i won`t have anything to say.."
