Well, honestly you can use just about ANY 3d editing program. BUT you will need to convert it to 3ds format. You can do that by following the link I posted in "Need a .COB to .3DS converter bad... " So just goto like 3d cafe.com and ind a demo of a cheaper 3d program <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>
What software are you guys using to make models?

I uses Rhino3D, its good for beginers becauses it probaly the most userfriendly 3D program around and also you can download it for free. Its not as powerful as 3D Studio but it works for me, you can also convert any model you make with Rhino in to other types of files There is also TrueSpace4, it cost around 80 bucks. Alot cheaper then the 1,000 dollor 3D Studio Max. ---------------------------------------------- When faced with killbots, send wave after wave of your own men at them until they reach their kill limit and self-destruct. - Zapp Brannigan

Didn´t know that a demo of Rhino was available. I pretty much discarded any thought of it when the best price I could find for the full version was about us$700. Found the file at download.com, going to try it tomorrow, time permitting. "You Can´t Fight in Here, This is The War Room!"
