Happy Birthday to the Rabbit God

 • 8 is the right age where rabbits get into pots, and I dont mean drugs, i mean dinner. Drink up, it´ll make it easier for the hunters.

 • Thanks for the good wishes everyone! If you would like some idea of the evening I had, read on... I was dragged out to a seedy "pub" by the family last night, and I was expecting the worst as you can probably imagine. Our table was located next to a group of ten 60+ year-old ladies who were, ironically, celebrating the birthday of one of their own. They spent the evening laughing, singing, and worst of all chanting the club songs for their respective football teams *shudder*. Needless to say, I was in an Ostraylian hell, but fortunately the food was excellent. I decided to go for something different and consumed some spiced calamari... and fine stuff it was too (and cheap)! Of course, my meal was washed down with copious amounts of ginger beer, which helped to fortify me against the aforementioned obnoxious old women . I could go on, but I don´t want to bore you . In case you were wondering, that was a brief excerpt from my best-selling autobiography; "Esquilax: My Life as a Rabbit". Purchase it from Amazon now for only $14.85 AUD (plus delivery)! Eraser - Ginger beer? I don´t like ginger beer! Boscoe - Sacrilege! Ginger *Ale* is very different from Ginger *Beer*! I´ll spare you the long and tedious explanation... for now . Taw - Waaay ahead of you! *Points to "Stash" link in first post* Dawg - Too late! Edited by - esquilax on 4/14/2005 8:26:38 PM

 • the Hare said: "..which helped to fortify me.." so the GB *fortified* you? is then an admission that GB is a *fortified* libation and therefore under the definition of fortified beverages is produced by a fermentation process of which the desired product is ALCOHOL? or is the fortification a mystical process, rather like the mystery of Transubstantion? I trust the irony of that question is not lost on you.

 • Ajim - Thanks . Taw - The fortification properties of GB are purely mental, and relate to it´s sumptuous flavour, and the carbonation present due its natural brewing process. There IS alcoholic GB out there, but the Rabbit-God considers it a perversion!

 • Thanks BP, and I love the picture .
