  • Um, if you´re wanting to get better at skinning, read my Tutorial in the 3D Modeling forum. Trust me... it ain´t hard to skin for FL, and anybody with some Photoshop background can do it. Finding a skinner to help you will be hard, though- we have a real shortage of people with those talents, even though I´ve been doing my best to encourage people to learn how. I´d have to suggest that if you want help, you´re going to need to put up some screenies of your completed geometry, including whatever´s already skinned, so that people can see what you´re trying to do. If you´re making stuff that looks very Freelancer-like, is very well-modeled (from both an artistic and technical standpoint) and are willing to let me include it in the XML Toolkit Mod, then I will evaluate your work and decide if I might want to help. But I´m pretty busy with other FL stuff this month already, so it may be awhile before I can get to it. Good skins take time- it´s just the way things go. And I wouldn´t be interested in stuff that wouldn´t look appropriate sitting next to something from FL, or stuff that´s poorly modeled- I´ve had to fix waaaaaay too many modeler´s work at this point to be excited by the prospect of doing so for anybody else´s project <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>
