Racing games

  • i´d go for the Ford Model-T simulator if I was you, with your internet connection. I think you got up to a blistering 33.6Kbps the other night.

"for once, i`ll actually tell you what i was thinking; but maybe i won`t have anything to say.."

  • try the live for speed 2 beta...most realistic driving experiance ever, none of the cars exist though.

Tis pure logic, dear lads, to see That I spam less, Far less, Than thee. [img=http://www.desktop-designz.com/imagehosting/pete.jpg]

  • Pfft, Model T. Far too fast, for real lack of speed you want the new Roman Slave-Driven Cart Sim II.I. The slaves curse you in Latin, then you can kill them with no legal problems. It´s the epitome of slow.

  • akshuly I play GP4 and Colin Mcrae Rallye. Indycar and Nascar are insane, but I´d like a proper European GT game that does Le Mans 24hrs and Mille Miglia, and in which you could use 1940s/50s/60s cars.

  • if you like vintage racing or a great choice of cars you might have a look at the upcoming World Racing 2 (WR1 was crap btw but WR2 seems to be much improved). • nice. thx for that, lokk forward to it; however wouldn´t a link have served just as well and saved you all that typing?

"for once, i`ll actually tell you what i was thinking; but maybe i won`t have anything to say.."

  • It was not typing, but copy-pasting (the info was dispersed in several posts). Yesterday in the evening i stumbled about another interesting racing game - and this time it is an ONLINE-game as sw asked for: go here for "Live for Speed 2". The game/program is free and without time restrictions, but has only one track and three cars. If you want all tracks and all cars you have to pay 12 or 24 £ . The cars are not modelled after existing cars because the developpers did not invest in licences, but in gameplay, realism and fun. This is a quote from a test in the new edition of the German "Gamestar" (that´s where I have the information from).
