Dial up internet

    You may not get that much of a reply - simply because server admins probabily don´t check TLR as often as players do. My recommendation would be to go to the screen for the server listings (inside the FL multiplayer selection), and then sort the list by ping. The lower the ping, the better. Check for active servers (ones with some players/many players) with the lowest ping going (some massive servers are professionally hosted, so they have very low pings due to their amazing connections, and lots of players!) - then connect and play <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    there are are a lot of good mods out there. Ping times of 250 &amp; below are playable with quite good results. Make shure to turn off your automatic updates, &amp; set your system detail settings accordingly. I have been playing on dial-up connection since i started ( have no other choice short of a satalite connection). Ping times between 250 &amp; 500 are playable depending on how much is going on around you #of npc´s, loot, debris etc around you. when you find a mod &amp; server you like you can lower your ping time by using direct connect.
