Problem With New Faction/Encounters

    Hi! One question: Did you start a totally new game, or did you use an old savegame? Make sure that after activating your mod the folder My Games/Freelancer/Singleplayer is totally empty before you start the game. Then start a new game and go to Omicron Alpha. This is, because the problem you´re describing is known and appears, if you add new factions, but use old savegames. Then the game only looks into the savegames for faction relationships and cannot find your new faction, so that it is neutral to everyone. So, just start a totally new game (no old savegames in the savegame folder) and the problem should be solved. I hope this helps! Black Eagle

    Nope, I started a totally new game, and made sure there were no savegames in my folder, and they still wouldn´t attack each other. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Thanks for the help, though.

    Try adding them to Corsair space and see what happens, if its a bloodbath then you know that they work against the Corsairs. If they work against the Corsairs but not against the Outcasts then it could be an empathy (the enemy of my enemy is my friend) sort of thing. Try switching the Red Hessians for your new faction in the encounter in omicron alpha, as the hessians hate both the oucasts and the corsairs it should be WAR.

    Well, my faction is enemy to Outcasts and Corsairs, and when I go to Corsair space, they don´t fight either. Thanks for the help, and I´ll keep toying around with it.
