I was curious what the newest limit was on cruise speeds and engines speed were for MP before causing bug problems. Also, I had another crazy idea, but can't find the entry. instead of making everything faster, what if you made everything slower and changed the names on the distances. M -> Km, Km - > IDK. Throw that ontop of giant worlds, and I think it'd be cool. Thoughts as well as where that IDS is for those?

thats possible, you can edit the distance value and lower the speed but i fear that would take away the action from the game

my thought would be that it would make "cruise" and "thrusters" a little more useful as well as with the larger planets, give a more realistic feel.

have no way to. Currently running on hacked wifi. hardly any bandwidth for a server or MP session

I believe MAX_ANOM_LIMITS in constants sets your max speed in game, doesnt matter if its SP or MP, dont forget to hack the hud to show the speed

don't worry, I know about that, I even have a copy of the exe that already has that set, but I've read that anything over 1000 m/s causes major lag and server problems.

a speed 299,792,458 would work for about 2-3 seconds then your ship will explode, there is a distance limit in vanilla FL iirc

But circumventing that limit would be useless anyways, cause at that distance your ship is already shaking like an earthquake
