I'm about 22, i live in Russia, Saint Petersburg. My nicks on several places are Iron118 or Nova.

We have no Freelancer or FL modding related communities/websites in Russia, so i decided to join you. <irony>Also the reason - i hate the-starport admins and Starwars.</irony>

Imma not new in Freelancer and modding. I work on modding for 2 years, and i make my own mod (an alternative to Discovery).

My modding specialities are...

1) Ships. 3D, converting, ini-coding, bad with *.surs

I prefer to make ships in Freelancer style:

2) Weapons. Of course, ini coding.. but also i love ALE.

3) Other stuff: Intro scripts THN, misc ini coding - thats easy (systems, equipment, npc factions and loadouts, solars, etc...).

I will maybe make some tutorials about some of this stuff.

I would like to learn how to make dynamic lighting of effects, and how to apply light-mapping textures to ships, also to get some *.sur experience.

Yes, i used some artistic freedom while remaking the Kiew. I also wanted to try to rebuild other Starlancer capships (fighters are very nice without remaking), but had no time for it, or just forgot. Maybe later i will finish em and show.

Btw, i created a tutorial about lasers. If somebody interested... Real lasers tutorial O.o Hehe
