FLMM won't let me load it, but just combing over it I've found this:

Battleship Phenisk. This no longer applies in the version I uploaded, as there the custom ship is available on the start base.
And yes, I tried custom missions. And they work. The CTD is on second launch with custom ship, so when I had to go to Phenisk to get my ship the second launch was after taking the job back on the planet

I appear to have a similar problem with my mod
there is a ship which does launch right after buying it but at the 2nd launch it is crashing.

The sur is stuffed, see if the attached one makes a difference.

Broken. I patched it to fix the error.

It seems to work now, but I'll keep an eye on it and keep testing
How did you fix it? I don't have much experience with surs, I did this one using the sur exporter and the export option disable DirectX Mesh reduction

The current exporter has an incomplete understanding of the sur format (it uses type = 4 when it's really count = 3). I'll be working on a new one soon.

I'm encountering a new error. When I want to load a save or start a new game I get the following Error Message:
DACOM::STANDARD DUMP
E:\FL\Scratch\Source\cmn\RenderMgr.cpp(576) : *** WARNING: RenderMgr - failed to create_buffers(1600,900) -1, -1
EDIT: I also get random graphics freezes, accompanied by this line in FLspit: WARNING: cockpit aspect (1.777778) is not PC-compatible?
