My wife and I game together fairly often, and I picked up a couple of new copies of Freelancer remembering how fun it was when I originally played it. I was a bit disappointed to find out you can't perform the story missions in multiplayer.
So before I set us up to game, my mission is to go find a mod that would be enjoyable for just the two of us to play together. I love the sandbox elements of freelancer, but it's really nice having at least some plot/story running alongside it.
We're not just looking for a mod that makes the single-player missions playable in MP (although that would be cool), but a mod that has some story-like elements or missions more complex than the standard dogfight/assasinate/tractor cargo medly.
