There is much to say... developed in ~5 years FL was released in 2003... has a large modding community with mods that regulary reach the top 100 of the mod award.
The majority of players use the singleplayer only while the MP communities are mainly responsible for the mods eventhough their numbers a relative small. -
It is a fantastic game, however the multiplayer servers were shut down some time in 2008 I believe. There is a patch to play custom servers.
Worth it.
-
the servers are not down only the global list server was shut down by microsoft but that got replaced meanwhile
-
I'm surprised to see that this game still has newcomers! Its almost as old as my nephew!
Welcome to our small community! Lately its been only me and OP here, as much as I know... But don't worry, theres a big database that you can use here! -
I'm also here PB
Yea, the community isn't as big or active as it used to be, but it's still here, fighting to keep this great game alive.Welcome to TLR
-
reason why i wanted to merge the community frameworks as it might change the activity here
-
But then it will be a farewell to TLR and everything it used to be. I find it principial that you keep TLR separated.
-
why does it mean farewell TLR?
There are several other forums running merged within the TLR community Framework and TLR continued to exist.
From my point of view its the best thing that can happen to TLR and the FL community at all as aside from the need to enter a new password it only has positive effects on the players. -
Oh, so the strusture of the community stays as it is? If so, I'm not agains the idea.
-
the look, the structure... everything stays the way it is
except that while i would merge the frameworks i would fix the old TLR threads which currently have missing data
