I think around 2000 is the top limit for something usable and not to heavy on resources... Correct me if I´m wrong.. Best Regards Christian "Bargib" Koerner Editor in Chief, The Lancers Reactor

CS says you need to keep under 600 polys! Best Regards Christian "Bargib" Koerner Editor in Chief, The Lancers Reactor

the highest you can convert is 3400 but like Bargib says this would seriously slow down your computer most ships seem to be between 1000-1500 for fighters but basically the lower you can get the better it will run with alot of stuff going on at once. so it´s best to stay below 1000.

If you are using 3D studio then goto the little tab on the right "Utilities" looks like a hammer. then click MORE and find a tool called polygon counter. I believe this is in 3d max 2.x and above. could be wrong. Also I am giving out the website of my little Polygon killer. Used only in Max 2.x and 3.x. Please dont use this program to convert other peoples high end models tho. Just make your own and chop it down. thnx... http://www.cs.ualberta.ca/~melax/polychop/plugin/ Edited by - Chamileon Sun on 1/14/01 4:37:15 AM
