The fireing squad thing sucks. Don´t get me wrong, I love this game, but shoot my @#$%ing wingman that don´t do squat!!

They are there to fill the screens and act as decoys. It all comes down to you, you, you, oh and you. I think that speciall scene is a great one, it´s quite cool (and sencible that a pilot who´s gone AWOL should be shot to bits after a while.

I don´t know, I think its a little extreme and the computer should consider some of the facts. If its a mission where you trying to hit an incoming torp then obvious you should probably be court martialed but shot? Well, you were doing your job and the other fellow just got in the way. Can´t say as I´ve ever had a problem with it. The only time I got the firing squad was when I deliberately pressed my luck.

I´ll tell you whats stupid as well: On the mission where you first meet Steiner and have to go locate the Mantis´s recorder try and target the mines. Kill the 1st one and then banit or whoever blows up and you get done for kiling him. I mean you took out the mine trying to save him!
