Whichever way you look at it..England did not look like a world class side. Bless Owen tho.. I dont think any teams in this World Cup truly deserve the title of World Champions....There just has´nt been a team this time who have, from start to finish, looked like they deserve it. Rather sloppy all round performances from everyone concerned really. spear, the very fact you have to say other nations played badly only gives away how bitter you are at being knocked out in the second round by a team ranked 43 in the world. I´d say no matter how england played, they made it to the quater finals to be knocked out by Brazil. Thats nothing to be ashamed of.
