More than 3 ships at the Ship dealer

You'll never be able to sell ships at an equipment dealer.
A ship dealer on the other hand .....
but, being a "hard coded" aspect makes it a nearly impossible thing
to have more than the allowed three ships max. -
I´ve got an idea. What if you place 2 ship dealers at one base?

hmmm...I like the idea, but how would you code it for one base to have to separate ship goods files?

it is possible to sell more than 3 ships on a shipdealer.
all u need to do is find the section in the exe/dll's where it is restricted to 3 ships and change it to whatever u like and OMG it should be possible.But u need to be a very good programmer to do this.

Well personally, I think a lot of people would like to know this one. I know I personally would especailly for my team and I's Hadron 2100 Project.

I' prolly wrong, but it's going to be either in the content.dll (highly unlikely though), Freelancer.exe, or (my opinion) server.dll. I would say open them up with a hex editor and search for the float value 3, but that'd be a lost cause I think.

LOL. Unless you know what you're doing. You should never look for something specific that has yet to be found like this on your first dive into hex. Just because there's a hex value of 13 or 23 or 3A or whatever it may be, doesn't mean it equils three.

You could just put more docking rings around the planet. I have one planet with four docking rings and twelve ships!

I think this topic is about more than 3 ships at ONE BASE.
Adding more than 1 dockring isnt the same thing. -
not necessarily. You have to change a line in that for the max amount of money, and that affects SP.

The only thing I can think of is probably adding another room that sells ships. I've seen this talked about somewhere.
