Yes, there are ways to skip this mission (look at the downloads section - there is a cheat allowing you to select any mission and craft). However, don´t you find it challenging to finish the mission? As to nudging the flight recorder, you don´t need any physical contact with it - just fly close enought at minimum speed, and that´s it. Yeah..I would much rather finish the mission than skip it. I jsut thought it was a bug because I was getting as close and as slow as possible and it wasnt connecting to it. Maybe I should fly under it instead of straight at it.

Now, that´s strange. Usually you just have to get in close and that´s it. No need to dive under it or sth. I don´t have a clue why it won´t connect. Think I´ll have to replay the mission once again (it´s been a while...<img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>) and see what´s going on.

weird i came contact and it didn´t get destroyed or whatever might of not been paying attention you know the saying it tastes like chicken well cardamine does too.
