They pay millions to a player but can´t spend a bit of that to improve the quality of the cameras? Whatever. Anyways, even from teh blurry photos, you can tell it went in. Game 6 totally should have been won by Calgary. Besides that, tonights game is going to be close! Yeah, like i said i checked everything over and over again. I refitted the cpu many times already and checked all the connections. At the moment, i dont really have any other hardware to test with. But what i want to try to do sometime soon is take apart this Compaq and use its 110W power supply. See if that helps. also kimk, i have no idea what your asking. If you read what i typed and understand computers, you would know what im trying to say. And also, i have no money at all right now. Alright? So stop asking me to buy stuff. When i have the money, ill buy parts or a whole new machine. Yes, taw, i got the manual and i followed it. I used the manual for those cables for the speaker/lights/etc.

Well, i checked the cable lots of times. Some of the IDE cables dont even have that little nub that sticks out. But like Taw said, i just had to use the red stripe on the side. But still, both orientations dont work. Ok, from my understanding, you dont need ANY ide cables connected to have the computer do a basic POST. In fact, all you should need is your mobo, cpu, and psu. And since the computer cant detect the other devices, it will beep. But mine doesnt even beep! And im pretty sure the cable for the speaker is inserted correctly. Even if teh cable for the speaker is damanged, wont the computer still be able to boot up if i install enough of the barebones devices?? The thing is, it doesnt. So im very lost. Basically, when i plug in the barebones stuff (mobo, psu, cpu, videocard, hd, floppy, ram) and i turn it on. <b>I get no video. </b> but the power led is on and the Hard drive has a light on the bottom of it which is on as well so the hd is getting power. 2 fans are spinning (cpu and psu) and thats it. As I said, im on a compaq. Its a desktop system, a very old one. I opened this one up before a few weeks ago to take a look and there were metal bars everywhere blocking me. And it looks like everything is just so damn squished into the case that im scared to take anything deep inside it outside because im not sure if i can get it all back in. Not to mention i dont want to screw this computer up. My family has to use it and so i dont want to risk me breaking it.

lol i know. I wish i can do that but everyone i know now is busy. And the computer im on now is a compaq and it looks like its built like a tank. im not sure if its the PSU or not. Before i got all these &quot;new&quot; parts, i went out and bought a new PSU from the mall but that didnt help at all. Im just puzzled by why i dont even hear any beeping noises from the speaker. Im sure the wires are still intact. Also, Taw, what´s the Red light on the mobos you sent me? Theres a tiny LED on the mobo itself which lights up whenever i turn on the PSU...

I can use the power switch/power button on my case to turn it on but i cant use it to turn it off. &quot;it&quot; being the entire system. I have to use the power supply switch. Well, from some research i did, if I dont hear any beeps, then the mobos are dead right? I tried jsut about anything. I even tried removing the RAM from the mobo and i still hear no beeps. As i understand it, if the ram slots are empty the mobo should beep right? And i connected the pc speaker to the pegs as well. Also tried both ways. Neither work...on ALL of the mobos. I know, i think i may have done somethign wrong here but im not suer what. Ive followed everything to the word. Ive also inspected the mobos and none of them have any burn marks or anything. Nor have i ever smelled any smoke. Also, i have switched the CMOS batteries around and thigns still dont work so its not that. ANd i dont have a voltmeter lying around nor do i know where to get one. The game isnt due out for another 2 years. So, Esq, im pretty sure by that time we will have the computer power to run the game decently. The movie is incredible. The bricks and stuff look so real! Damn. Im guessing maybe after a few more video card generations, we will have the power necessary to do some truly realistic stuff. Yes, definitely. Ive met new ppl here and made many new friends and have gotten good advice from many of them. Also, thanks to Bargib and all the other staff members, ive gotten the chance to experience game development first-hand.
