I suggest buying the DVD version of STT. If ya read the book (which came out 40 years before the movie), the battles take place all over and they uses moble suits (Think Mechs but the size of humans) and drop down not in drop ships but are launched from ships in capsules (Quake 2 style). Nukes in the books are just that...nukes. The moble suits protect them from any radiation (Possibly they used non-radioactive nukes too). The movies version nukes are just the director trying to put in as much stuff as possible even if the dont make sinces. Ive had this idea for awile. Ok, it dont going to be the next matrix movie but its good idea The setting is are current time, in L.A. Its all real to life. The first part of the movie is at the premer of &quot;The Matrix&quot; <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> . ....................fine out that it is something like the matrix and that it has been going on like this for thousands of years (so this means that are past is completely fabricated.). They start fighting back...... end movie Those two big gaps in the story, well it would take an entire script to fill them up. Let me try to fill in some details. The reaons the Matrix the movie was made was that it was suppose to be something that would be used to make people disbelive that something like that could be possible (speicaly since the world is so hectic and people belive in just about anything). The Real Matrix is controls by aliens. There reason for holding us in the matrix is that are speices was dieing out. I guess they felt sad and they took what was left us and hooked us up to (The Matrix) or They are also studing us, watching how we evolved and so on. There is also drones like in the matrix moive. They watch over us, to make sure we dont get out of hand (lets also say they are the people who start wars and end them) they also watch and make sure we dont fine out that this isnt the real. i never heard anything about that. also why would THQ buy it in the first place, it has no valvue to them. THQ makes console games not computer ones. Also there would be a conflict w/ 2 other companys (Interplay and outrage)

I dont think PXO wasnt bought by THQ. Volition was developing the 4th (and final) descent game before they where bought and they might have also been working on the 3rd freespace game and they could still be but with them under THQ god only knows &quot;THQ is evil&quot;

things really dont have to look furturistic. Besides, are opinon about future chances by the decade. Like in the 50´s they though we would be living on the moon and everyone would have flying cars, 60-70s they though we would be living on mars and wearing shiny tin foil chothing, in the 80s they had something about us wearing neon colored stuff and 90s it was about massive fleet of ships ruling the universe w/ and iron fist (ok, thats one is my opinon of the future, none of the star trek crap for me <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ) I think those guard women are pretty cool, there uniforms are pretty cool too. I dont play every RTS game that cross my path but Homeworld is still one of my favorite. Like with sims, I like all-around 360 degrees of freedom.
