Dream interpretations can be intresting, although it seems some are just a random mess full of subconscious ramblings. ive a had a similar problem, except with me occasionally my left thigh is the only effected bit. only happends in the summer when the kitchen at work gets reallllllllllly hot, we´re talkin like 50 degrees C, oh baby i love the winter soooo much. The way i see it, men have more accidents because they ahve to spend all their time worrying about getting hit by a woman driving erratically and we drive faster becasue we´re trying to get away from the women drivers before they get us into an accident. IMHO Jonathon Ross knows nothing about film, He tries to play it safe by giving a review based on how well he thinks a film will do. And as 28 Days Later is from a genre that is not usually sucessful (when you here the premise it sounds really lame i admit) . The visual effects arnt really anything to shout about (being a british film it only had a budget of £15 million, altho there is some great footage of a totally deserted london, (even the big tourist spots) and when the soldiers turn up later there are some shooting and explosions. but this is not, i repeat NOT about some guy going round killing zombies. its a thinker... ..and its also incredibly scarey. i saw it with my best mate, and he is one of the hardest people i know. Eraser, how much would you say you spend on hardware say every three or four years? say right now you wanted to make your PC fairly Kicka$$, you have the bones of a good system, nice monitor, a motherboard that will support a substantial cpu uprade, a fair amount of ram, infact the only things you are actually planning on buying are : A new bigger /faster/ nicer /cooler CPU A top of the range video card to last you say... 3 of 4 years? (when it will be obselete.) Ok adressing the first, you want to buy something fast, thats going to last, but not something thats going to break the bank right? How about the Intel Pentium 4 2.26 GHz thatll last a good few years, and costs $250, if thats a bit too expensive for you then how about.. the OEM AMD Athlon XP 2100+ this is a nice fast little chip and at only $180 is also cheaper than the intel chip. The second piece of hardware ... a nice meaty graphics card, lets say a Geforce 4 of some type, say...the GeForce4 Ti 4600 retailing at around... $250-$300 or for the tightwads... GeForce4 MX 420 ($50-$60, so seeign as we´d buy the cheapest, call it $50) Sofar we ahve the expensive and long lasting option costing around $500 or the cheapo option (which will need upgrading sooner to keep up with the competition, for half the price, at around $250 and the current retail price of the x box? $200 so the only real difference is the fact that you may spread the payment for differnt items of hardware as you go along, where as i paid all my money at once. Big deal. You are spending just as much if not more than me. so dont ttry and make out that buying a console makes us fools. If i were buying a console 2day i would buy either a n Xbox or a Gamecube, but wouldnt touch a PS2. Its like buying a car, you have the choice of a Ferrari, an Audi TT, or a ford Focus. Theres Nothing WRONG with it, and the PS2 might be the safe bet as its been out a time longer than its competitors, but its already hit its second wave of software, where as GC and Xbox are still in their first, and still look better. so long as GC and Xbox can ride out the wave, (which they probably can, being extremely wealthy) They should be fine. The main thing the GC has going for it, in my eyes, is the fact it doesnt really compete directly with the xbox or PS2, I dont want to sound cliche and say that GC games are Childish, so instead ill say they are &quot;different&quot;. for example, who can see a hard core Halo fan going to play Pikmin? (please EB dont think im slating Nintendo´s choice of titles, im not, just pointing out the difference in the sorts of games released on x box and GC and the respective audiences. so the GC will survive whatever, and the real war is between PS2 and X box. the down side to the X box is that games have been a little thin on the ground, (this would be especially noticable in america where its been released for months longer than here in europe) as long as owners put up with this for another month or so, they should (hopefully) be rewarded with some quality games. a last note. If you take into consideration cost involved in buying up games companies as part of MS´s investment into Xbox, they arnt due to turn a profit for around 3 years. thats quite a long time in console land. so maybe the x box isnt about making a profit, maybe its about breaking even, but achieving somehting far more important to Bill, the move from people´s PC´s into People´s bedrooms and living rooms. Maybe it is all about world domination after all. and if he achieves that and gets him self established, X-Box 2?

well, im happy with my little lovely black and green box. Halo 2 for an xmas 2003 release? loving it. The point is that Billgates can actually afford to keep ramming money into xbox. and if you look at sales figures for the PS1 durring the first few months of its European release they are astoundingly similar to the Xbox, with predictions that it would be a flash in the pan Job. All I know is this, any of my firends that have played with my Xbox have gone out and brought 1 for themself. spear, the very fact you have to say other nations played badly only gives away how bitter you are at being knocked out in the second round by a team ranked 43 in the world. I´d say no matter how england played, they made it to the quater finals to be knocked out by Brazil. Thats nothing to be ashamed of.
