Use engine kill (the Z key), afterburn right at, and then past them. Find the closest one (R key) and turn towrd it. You should be coasting backward at about -180 or so. LIGHTLY tap your afterburner so that it comes into range and blast it. If it gets too close and/or it´s buddies come into range, repeat from the beginning. Bulldog

You can buy a Sabre from the outcasts on Planet Malta in Omicron Alpha. You can easily get neutral with them by bribing Liberty Rogues, Junkers or Zoners. You can bribe Lane Hackers but chances are if your unfriendly with Outcasts, Lane Hackers are likely to shoot at you. Bulldog

I think that it´s the law of conservation of animosity. One Xeno is probably worth the same as one let´s say Corsair kill, it´s just that you have to spread that over all of the factions. It´s as if, since there are so many people killing Xeno´s, no one really notices who´s doing it. Bulldog

I just ignore the pirates and kick in cruise engines or enter a trade lane/jump gate. By the time they figure out that you´ve told them to go to h*ll, you´re too far away for them to mess with you. Bulldog

I did most of Juni´s missions in a Dromedary Freighter. I´m basically a peaceful, trading kind of guy. Juni is very patient. Other than the occasional reminder to meet her, there are no dire consequences to blowing her off. You can´t level up, but that there is the price of freedom. Bulldog

They tell you what the icon is, but that is the extent of it. I lost ALOT of money selling them puppies to see if I could buy/mount a superior weapon only to find that I could not and had to buy back MY gun at a higher price. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Bulldog

&gt;&gt;Are all npc actions pre-planned? I suppose to a certain extent they are. They definitely respond to your reputation. Neutral NPC´s will turn hostile if one of their allies shows up and is hostile. Sometimes causes a (deadly) cascade effect. &gt;&gt;if so how come when i created a base ships where docking with it and leaving. Huh? &gt;&gt;Why do some kishirot ransports use jump holes when they are carrying luxury food and the jump hole is 70 k away but the gate is 2k away? A. The other side of the jumphole is closer to their destination. B. They are stupid. You pick. &gt;&gt;Another question is has anyone seen an outcast in the jersey debris field? I chased one from the texas jumphole alll the way to colorado through the badlands and sun coronaes and finally through debris fields Can´t recall. If I see one I´ll let you know. Atom_Kid, You have good reasoning, good Sci-Fi background and good observation skills. I. personally, believe that you have put more thought into the storyline than the writers did. I wish that they had your vision. Bulldog

I prefer the Dromedary (Border World) Freighter. With the exception of the torpedo it carries better weaponry than the Anubis - 2 extra class 5 weapons, has the maximum cargo space and turns better than some VHF´s. Somewhere along the line I picked up a shield with ~3600 (shield points?). I don´t like the fact that it can only handle Class 6 weapons, but I figure I´ll make about 5 mil between New Berlin and Yanagi, go get a Sabre and explore the rest of the galaxy. Bulldog

You engage your cruise engine until your shield builds up. Flying in a circle at that speed confuses the AI so bad that their aim is WAY off. The technique works in other places, but especially so in this mission because it´s in Liberty where Wasps are few and far between (if at all). I wasn´t hit by a single Wasp. Sorry, my bad for not elaborating in the earlier post that once your shield is up you have to kick back out of cruise. As I said, the technique works in other systems (but not as well) because the constant turn tends to throw off the Wasps. Occasionally you do get hit and have to kick in the engines again. You can also drop counter measures, they are cheap and plentiful. This technique does not work well in an asteroid field and even worse in a mine field. Bulldog
