Ok, I fixed the cocpit area. The wings on that shuttle you posted are a bit off. So I won´t change mine. If I lower the detail on my engines I could get it under 900 but the it would realy look ugly. 1372 very high fo me. I can usualy stay aroud 500. There also is another cannon used on a station in the game by the coalition in the mission with the abandon station I think that is a beam but I cant remember.

Milkshape (cheap), 3DS max, 3D canvas (free), Anim8tor (free), truespace (cheap). and the list goes on... Later,

I think it can be done, It will just take some time. Can that Ion cannon be used on ships just set at a lower setting?? Heck does it even look like a beam?? I spend alot of time getting hit by it and not watching it. Oh can someone tell me the poly count on the shuttles you are using?? The one I created is very high.
