Ah dammit i understand now.. I only downloaded the php with CGI´s and hell its not complete. Many configurations had to be rendered. and redownloaded the full version lol. anyways after a good whole day of configuring i finally get it to work. phew. my head is banging already. thanks for the replies.

I did try it. Dint work. even after changing the default open program to IE it does nothing when the file is invoked. the problem is the downloading window opens and asks these options -open- -save- -cancel- -more info- . I cant even browse the it inside my computer.

Are u using a router/firewall? Can u Detail the specifications?

its not really a topology at all. its built in to the modem. the problem is getting services past the router in and out. practiaclly i cant get my IIS to be functional on dyndns anymore. this is what i want to get it fixed.

You´ll most likely unable to play the game upon install? or an error occured after trying to get the icon to start the game? or some hazardous error occured after rebooting ur pc? ..who knows..

i have every intention of getting the pc firewall up after getting the services i wish to enable. and that private ip address... is unconnectable. the router blocks it to a degree that i cant even connect any advanced services. without knowledge of my ISP ip there is no way another person can infiltrate my router as far as i know. only an entity of the same network will be able to make such connections.

My external modem/router: Aztech DSL. Ip address:external:automatic (ISP dependant) Ip address:internal:10.0.0.2 Public/Private Ports opened by redirection to 10.0.0.4: 5000,8080,80. Routing configuration is done by connecting to 10.0.0.2. it is displayed in Html format and will ask for admin password upon connection. My Pc. Ip addr:10.0.0.4(fixed DHCP) Ports opened:all (firewall disabled)

this maybe a really dumb question but are you sure u are connected? and IMO its better to open a few holes for the firewall coz it might help more data transfer.
