Starlancer wins. Nothing against FL, but I never like being a "freelancer". SL gives me soldiering - I need the Alliance anthem in the background and Alliance colors and banners and flags and brass bands trumpeting to get me do my job with some real sense of pride, not money.

Funny, I could´ve sensed that somebody called my name 5 times <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>! Thanks for the wishes guys! yeah I still lurk at least once a week. I´m 23 now, an age where Eraser already had a wife and a good paying job <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> I´m halfway to half of those goals (ie, have a gf, but that´s it <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>).

I saw it and it was kind of..... awesome! Arcon really took the words right out of my mouth for every technical bits, and I only want to add one thing: this movie is about survival, not victory. It´s a drama about human nature and human beings facing jeopardy. The aliens are there just as an excuse. Keep this in mind, expect good acting and good special effects, instead of big bangs and typical bravado-that-can-overcome-insurmountable-odds plot. Some would find the ending to be laughable. If you are one of them, remember that Indepence Day aliens were booted because they forgot to install a friggin firewall.

<font size=1 face="trebuchet ms"><BLOCKQUOTE><hr size=1 noshade>*sigh*...It´s got to be worse. It has Ben Affleck. <hr size=1 noshade></BLOCKQUOTE></font><font face=´trebuchet ms, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica´ size=2> <A href=´http://www.imdb.com/title/tt0407304/fullcredits´ Target=_Blank>No, it does not.</a> At least, not according to imdb. I´m going to see it tonight with some friends. Spielberg likes to screw up endings, but perhaps his special fx prowess alone will redeem the movie. I forgave Lucas for that, and Spielberg has at least ten times as much heart and soul poured into ANY ONE of his works than Lucas ever will. I will post a review later after watching it.

I think it was awesome. The best of all 5 movies! (no bat-nippled batsuit this time <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>). And Bale is the best Batman of all. I was at first scheptical about the Batmobile, it looked rugged instead of sleek, but it was okay actually.

This is just my humble opinion, but I think Genndy Tartakovsky´s animated Clone Wars - shown back to back - was far superior to this ´movie´. The Clone Troopers were the coolest aspect of this prequel trilogy did not see enough action! The Jedis bore me to death (ooh look at me I´m a ripoff of some Shaolin monk/Knights Templar crossover and I have shiny blades - a critic advised if I wanted to pee, go in the middle of a lightsabre duel, they´d still be at it when I returned - and she was right!)- I wanted to see more Clones and Droids duking it out, which Lucas failed to deliver, while Tartakovsky did!

I HATE all Linkin Park songs. I hate all LP members. I like ONE of Green Day´s tunes (Basket Case). GD wins.

I suppose yes, you´re a bad person <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> but you´re not alone <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> some people think people don´t belong in space, and maybe they´re right. But more than that, people definitely don´t belong in front of raging bulls!

In my culture, dreams of person´s death actually means something wonderfully great is coming that person´s way! Either way it´s only a dream.

Okay zip it right now, I don´t care who´s right or wrong. I like Jackie Chan a lot but he´s not getting scripts he deserve nowadays. Rush Hour movies were great fun, and so were Shanghai Noon and Knight to a lesser extent (not his fault, Chris Tucker rules over Owen Wilson any day). But 80 Days did really suck. You want to know who the real Hollywood whore is? Robert De Niro. His last decent movie was Michael Mann´s "Heat" (greatly helped by Al Pacino, who is his exact opposite) and I could not stand his later movies and cried whenever I remember how great this guy could be before he chose to "explore other options" (like the other end of greatness) by being a clown. He refuses anything that brings him less than US$ 4 million and can´t say no to anything that brings him that amount or more.

WC did have characters that evolved, but that evolution was infantile. The storylines were....soapy. Yep - it´s daytime tv plot grafted into space sim. Starlancer was awesome in every sense and form - and who says Enriquez was not developed? she was very well developed. Her boobs, that is <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

How ya doin´? we´ve missed you - except Stinger with his usual groan-factory "You were gone?" quip. *Cue the Sting-dude*

ISPs advertise LEGAL music and movie downloads. Record companies DO suck, but still not an excuse to go and steal something you should´ve paid. I also agree that CDs nowadays have only one or two decent songs, the rest are substandard tunes. But remember Apple´s music downloads? they´re legal, cheap, and they don´t force to to buy and listen to a bunch of craps you don´t even want in the 1st place. Come on, can you really say ONE dollar (.99 cents, really) is TOO MUCH to pay for a good song? it´s not global yet, but it´s only a matter of time. Couple of years ago, downloading music would´ve been understandable (not justifiable, but understandable) - but not in the near future. With single tunes download (vs buying whole albums), the playing fields have been leveled greatly. Artists get screwed less, fans get screwed less, and of course record companies complain, but they too will benefit in the long run. Competition and fans´ choice will be the future driving force of the market. Artists will be forced to be more creative and improve their works, because they benefit only from good ones (the ones that sell) Music thieves are running out of excuses. PS: cds may get smashed so that justifies backing up, but giving/selling the back-up to somebody is wrong. Think about this: if you smash your car or your chair, you have to get new ones. Why should it be different with a cd? And not having income is not an excuse at all. I can´t afford an iPod, but the judge won´t accept the "I´m poor" defense when I get caught stealing one.

<font size=1 face="trebuchet ms"><BLOCKQUOTE><hr size=1 noshade>"lol" If only they made one of those, the complete waste of time/money it is would be rather amusing Kinda like that pen Nasa made that cost a million to make, can write on nearly anything etc etc - whilst the russians used a pencil..... <hr size=1 noshade></BLOCKQUOTE></font><font face=´trebuchet ms, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica´ size=2> Very popular anecdote, but a mere urban legend. Nasa astronauts had used pencils before switching to the million-dollar pen but the switch was absolutely necessary. Pencils´ graphites were too brittle and break easily and could get into panels, keyboards etc. Also, graphites are very combustible, especially in oxygen-rich environment (which spaceships are most likely to have) - bad news for any kind of exploration, especially space ones. Go search Snopes.com for details. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

Sorry man, don´t even know how to fill that. Last rpg I played was Planescape: Torment - was I a noob! I didn´t even know that AC10 is actually WORSE than an AC1! <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> my chars strutted around for a week wearing the worst armors possible and kept getting owned by ordinary street rodents <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

It´s not French actually. It´s Belgian. Some Belgians invented the potato slices deep-fried in oil, and these particular Belgians came from the French-speaking part of Belgium, so when people speaks of "French Fries" it´s actually "French-speaking Belgian fries" Belgian fries are thick-sliced, unpeeled, and eaten with mayonaise from a cone-shaped paper vessel. How it transformed into string-thin yellow crunchy potatoe slices eaten primarily with ketchup, I don´t know <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

I can understand why you want this - I´m a part of another Community, and they have a Fight Club forum where people can just go at it with their politics, religion and racial remarks. But allow me to clarify why we can´t have the same formula here: -that community is big, with hundreds of active posters, compared to our small presence. -They have about 40 forums, from adult topics to hobbies, book/movie club, and gardening etc. Members stick to their sub-communities and can spend their entire membership without ever encountering posters outside their own hangout places. Thus the assholes stick to the Fight Club and the non-assholes avoid it like the plague. We are a specialized community. Animosities do not bleed to other forums because these people don´t meet, they don´t hang out in the same non-fight club forums. -the community at TLR is too small for that. If you just had a flame war with someone in TLR´s fight club, can you really guarantee that you WON´T be dragged into another round in the civilized OT or Freelancer Modding Forum? you ´ve met the guy in flame war and have constituted a certain prejudice against him, and you may think it´s funny to make implicit and/or explicit references to that war - and NOW the civilized forums turn to pooh too. It simply does not work in smaller communities.

I´m stuck on 56 kg - I´m a walking collection of sticks! thank you for your recommendation of fat and calories-rich food <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> going to put them in my shopping list <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>
