You mean, in the Coalition convoy ambush mission (20)? I should check it out, since I just killed off all fighters without paying attention to who this is. I wonder how it is possible not to launch all torps on this mission and still succeed. Every time I tried to save at least 1 torp, the Varyag didn´t blow up, and the mission was a failure. Also, if I don´t stay in formation and don´t take the position behind the Varyag, I also blow the mission. What´s the trick Phoenix was talking about? How to do it?

Thanx, I guess I´ll buy the game anyway, and the info you provided raised my motivation. Fighting is good, though I can hardly imagine a space sim with the joystick disabled (which, as far as I´ve heard, is gonna be the case with Freelancer). A bit disappointing<img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> The statements about not wanting to exclude people who don´t own a joystick don´t sound too rational - one can have keybord+mouse option along with the joystick.

Instead of pressing F you can press G to cycle through guns - helpful sometimes, especially with Reaper in missile hunts.

and, after you´ve dealt with the torps, DO NOT DESTROY KRASNAYA´S ENGINES! Otherwise, another Kamov will decloak and blast Reliant. there will be nothing you can do about it.
