According to my list of wrecks I am compiling Freespirit in Galileo should drop Alien artifacts. Was this an MP server? Perhaps someone got there before you? Also try using only one weapon, not a whole salvo, you might end up destroying the cargo.

Except that Rhineland has one functional battleship (except in the plot where they go nuts and make heaps of them) and Liberty has many. So while their fighters would do brilliantly, their cap ships wouldn´t do much at all.

Just disrupt a trade lane and kill everything that comes through then fly away laughing hysterically. Maybe, just maybe there is a point to there being 3 good VHF´s. Each has a very different style to it, depending on whether you want agility (the eagle), brute force (the titan) or a mixture (the sabre). So different people are bound to find different ships more their bag. I´ve just bought a sabre and I like it (especially going from a Valkyrie with level 8 weapons to a Sabre with all those nice level 10 weapons I have found <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>). Next I am going to go find myself an eagle and give it a try. I´ll probably go find a titan though I doubt it will suit my flying style much. (BTW I´m beginning to think the eagle looks cooler... the sabre looks kinda stupid with that underneath platform thingy)

Top left corner there is a little icon inside the icon of the equipment that looks like a jigsaw piece (kind of I guess) Click in with equipped weapons to unequip them. Click it for unequipped weapons to equip them.

Also doesn´t the Sabre turret fire forwards but the Titan not.... so you´ve got another weapon drawing energy with the Sabre that isn´t in the Titan.

I mean it´s possible that those of us on cable/ADSL (maybe even 56k´ers who knows) will be able to play on US/European based servers without much hassle but still it´d be great to play with a bunch of Aussies too <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>.

There is a more recent version of the 4-in-1´s... I mean hyperion <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> drivers at http://www.viaarena.com, that is the version I am using at the moment (with an MSI mainboard) and the demo runs fine <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Oh and only download those if your motherboard using a VIA chipset (for both northbridge and southbridge).
