Ahhhhh. Okay - I didn´t realize that. I could have sworn it plotted me via jump holes before (which is why I assumed this), but it very well may have been the Juni exception. Thanks for the clarification.

    K. Makes sense. Yeah - they´re showing up on the map fine - just not as used. That´s okay I guess. There´s no bonus gotten from using them all, is there? (IE some sort of easter egg for finding all of them.) I obviously don´t want to jump through every one I come across when I´m simply looking for ´em. Thanks for all the responses!

I actually haven´t modified this in any way, but saw this and had a gut instinct of where to find it. Sure enough, it´s not in the actual Freelancer directory - it´s where the savegames are also stored in the My DocumentsMy GamesFreelancer directory. Hope this helps.

Wing Commander III. Maybe because it was my first. Maybe because of the great story and FMV. But Wing Commander III brought me in, and I loved every minute of it. Grand stuff. I also like a bunch of others (more Wing Commander games, X-Wing series, etc.), but WC3 was the BOMB.

Actually, I found this jumphole accidentally in Leeds. It won´t show up in your object list or map, but you can click it when approaching it and like mentioned, it displays as Unknown Jumphole. I could *NOT* dock with it at the present time though. If you really want to find it in Leeds, go to the West Leeds Smog Cloud. Find the New London Jump Hole on your map and zoom in. Then (zoomed in) go 6 squares right and 1 down, and that´s where it is. Shaun

Thanks for the tip. Finally finished Leeds and got to New London. Loaded an autosave just to make sure I wasn´t screwed over and flew to Cambridge just to see if good ol´ Juni was there. She was, so I´m fine. Reloaded my save in New London and gonna just finish exploring there before doing the next story mission. Thanks again for the info. Think you can either decline her or just not go talk to her indefinitely.

I´m not arguing or anything, but some applications are more sensitive to overclocking than others (and it does depend a lot on the computer), so it may be worth a try. I read somewhere else on here that it fixed it for someone. It may not, but if you´ve tried everything else, just a might-work idea.

If all else fails, use the Windows rollback feature to go back to the old driver. Have no idea what this could be - new drivers work fine here. Have you gone into the settings and made sure they´re right? Did you disable your virus scanner to install the new drivers like it says? You might also try reinstalling Freelancer, but that´s a longshot.

A few things to try: 1. Set all your overclocked components to their regular speed and see if the problem still occurs. 2. I´ve seen a similar problem having to do with a network connection. If you´re on a network, try disabling it briefly to see if that has any affect. If it does, you´ll want to re-enable it and play around with the settings. (If I remember right, for me it was caused by the file and printer sharing, and after messing with that stuff and uninstalling/reinstalling, I eventually got it working again). EDIT: For #2, this was waaay before FreeLancer, but a similar thing happening. However, just remembered it happened in virtually everything (especially games, but even Windows itself), so this probably is not it. Edited by - guptasa1 on 29-03-2003 06:19:51

Yup - that´s it. Must be the Cambridge Hole. Still shows up as unknown, and "Access Denied" when I try to dock. Are some holes one-way, or do I just have to find the other way before I can use it (both ways)? Thanks again

LOL. I´m like 40 hours (gametime) into the game and only just finished mission 4, so you´re not the only one who spends a lot of time in this game. I´ll look there a bit later and let you know if I find it. Thanks!

Hmmm. Coordinates? Any reason it isn´t showing up like the others do? Do terminus points generally show up differently? I just downloaded FL Datastorm to look, and I think you´re right, but unfortunately that program seems a bit messed up on my system for some reason - not finding it where it appears there, and the backgrounds don´t match up. Thanks.
