  • EVENT IDEAS!!! For any server.

    I think perhaps a good event would be to new players, starfliers, give each say 100k, and then give them a set amount of time to get whatever ships they want and whatever weps, and then get all the players to meet somewhere, perhaps back at manhatten, and let them have duels and see who wins. The one who has used his time most efficiantly would probably win, since he would have the better ship/ equiptment. However there would definantly be a few exceptions <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>.

Even if I didn´t know them to be good friends and decent people, I would still be saying this regardless. There has been countless posts and raves ranging from how &quot;NEO sux becoz they attack in numbers&quot; to massive threads about how NEO opractically owns the server and the admins are on their payroll. Now I know, KNOW that ALL with a few exceptions, of these complaints are untrue and without solid founding. I can´t say I agree with some of NEO´s views but you have to admire them for remaining strong throughout this barrage of useless lame insults and childish boohoos. I just can´t beleive how people can be so STUPID to say some of the things they do, and even though I can see through all those idiotic posts because I have seen the real truth with my own eyes, it would only take anyone with half a brain to reason out whats really going on. Newbs, cheaters modders and clanners alike, DON´T take it from anyone else what NEO, elite and its admins are really like, try to respect them and SEE IT FOR YOURSELF. *puts badge back on* ahem hem, now then now then whats goin´ on ´ere?

I certainly do not care who wins, but pfff, I got a good idea who will and I don´t mind saying it. PS. In any case, do our names say &quot;server deputy&quot;? Outside of duty some of us have clans we belong to, and you can´t accuse me for taking the side of my clan (allied to NEO)

    The Elite admins are NOT in alliance with NEO, NOR are they bias towards them, and if they decide to trust a member from NEO rather than a member from another clan on an issue, that is up to their judgement. About OWL members getting banned, Wardragon has been banned for the 4th time now, and cleaver was already banned, but if this is because they owned a NEO, then why, I ask, in previous times when NEO have been owned by opposition (yes folks, it HAS happened) say by WP Crying Devil or Apoc or someone, why didn´t THEY get banned?

    Ok Ok, the real truth is that WHATEVER ship you have, except maybe the cheapy liberty ones <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>, you CAN beat other eagles, AS LONG as you know how to use it properly. I have beaten many eagles in my HH, loaded with skyblasts, and in turn have gotten the heck beaten out of me. My friend is almost impossible to kill in his drake, and me in my eagle, although you usually do end up killing him within 20 mins. so really its not a question of what SHIP, but more what PLAYER is playing that ship, and how good the opponent is.     Right... all you have to do is get the all seeing eye. select elite and a message will come up and say server is full (if it is in fact full) leave that little box there...it will constantly scan for open spots. go do something else, when there is an open spot a little box pops up and you can join. you can either do that or get a friend who is in the server to trick a newbie into leaving right now or his account will be deleted.

    just off the subject (or back on it) the other night, i was returning from a succesful battle and having tractored in the weapons i wanted, as well as heaps of other loot i returned to crete. as soon as i cut my cruise engines along came Greatlight and killed me. He had not said a word to me, nor had i in any way provoked him. When i asked him later why he did it, he said &quot;i dunno....&quot; No hard feelings greatlight but it would be wise not to kill someone from an allied clan carrying important cargo, for absolutely no reason... thanks

    Yes ok, advice taken I have been unbanned now thanks to a merciful admin...ill try to confine my editing to....wherever its allowed <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> I have reinstalled freelancer now and gotten rid of any unkown edits i still had. Thanks
