    Freeport 1 in Omega 3 is always a ncie plzce to shoot up some trains. And best of all the station won´t go hostile to you for doing it.     hmm, something that looks like part of a station in the middle of a debris field. Wonder what it could be. Perhaps part of a destroyed station? Chances are it is a piece of the station that was blown in that direction instead of staying with the rest of it. ~ DaVoid, Expert Star Diver

    When i had a similar setup(probably same missles just on a legionnaire) I made it so when I fired the default fire button only the shield killers would fire and due to the delay rate by pressing the missle fire button only 2 hull killers would launch because the shield killers were still reloading. It was effective and all i did was click on the shield killers in the weapons loadout to turn them to green. Sure sometimes I fired off 2 SKs with my HKs but the way i see it, if they survive the HKs somehow the SKs would´ve made a nice dent in their power reserves(assuming they work the same way as SK guns) ~ DaVoid, Expert Star Diver

    Yes there are wrecks outside of both unknown JHs(the outcasts purposely place thier ships there, it is a graveyard for them). And you can also fight nomads on the omicron side of the JHs, not worth it tough, same numbers but you have to deal with the nebula blocking your vision and potentially dealing with rad damage(the unknown in Alpha also has rad damage so this point could be moot) And there are no Nomad Gunboats or battleships in any unaltered servers. ~ DaVoid, Expert Star Diver

    In response to DOOM, in thos situations where you are chasing a player as part of an event you have to trust that the oher players will play fair. Yes if I really did not want to be found I could just fly stright up or down 10+k and not have to worry about being caught, but where would the fun be in that? Only once in an event did we take advantage of being able to fly down and that was for a game of CTF, blasted those poor fools gaurding thier base before they realized what hit them <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ~ DaVoid, Expert Star Diver

    I use 3rd person view almost all the time. in combat it provides you with larger firing arcs then 1st person does and it is possible to see where enemy fire is coming from. It also makes dodging things easier. I never had a problem with doing the race(except for bumping into him) in 3rd person view. the only time I go 1st person is when I am taking a screenshot and don´t want my ship in the way or when I am &quot;relieving&quot; a transport of some excess cargo. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ~ DaVoid, Expert Star Diver

    Except that the missles start out at what ever speed the firer is going and then add that 90+ units of velocity to that. So if you were going full speed the missles would be flying at a speed of 170. BUt if you were also using thursters then the missle would be going at 290.

    The best ship is quite clearly the Starflier. Without this little baby there would be no way you advance through the rest of the game. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    Except that the C10 shield has a higher recharge rate then the C8 graviton shield. Assuming you can dodge fairly well the weakness of your shield type vs hunter weapons won´t matter as your shield will rechrage before ever going down.

    My typical loadout: 2x TDCs 2x Nomad blasters(act as tracers for the TDCs) 1x Cball 1x Firestalker 1x Hornet CD 1x Adv. CM 1x Ripper mine(for show, Expensive ammo and not very reliable, for me at least) With this loadout I just need to get thier shields nearly down before my missles strike as the firestalker will finish off any shield energy left and the Cball will destroy thier ship. It is very costly though but the nomad blaster let me do missions without the need to use ammo so I can easily gain back credits that way.

    Heh, I just love taking my Missle Mule out for a spin. It has 4 stun pulse turrets, 2 cat launchers and 2 moonstalkers I think(On excelsia mod Mule can equip stronger guns so it not using the normal layout any more). With so many missles it is sometimes hard for my oppoenent to keep track on when I have used them all up or not. Plus I do have 50 more missles then they do CDs <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> And it even works effectivly on taking out shields, 1 full Salvo can take a daggers shield down from max to depleted or less then 3/4s.

    Corsairs. I have always liked them, don´t know why. Even though they have the slowest turning(Sabre feels more sluggish to me though) VHF it is still fun to waste Eagles with it. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>
