    in the cutscreens it shows at least one faction stripping down it´s ship. i mean, not turning it into a building, but actually taking it apart. if that was britonia then maybe the britonian ship doesnt exist? i seem to recall seeing the kusari ship in either tokyo or honshu, but i dont know where the rhineland one is, confirm: its not in new berlin, dont think stuggart. that leaves hamburg, which i honestly dont think i ever bothered to look, or it might be that one in frankfurt? lol, the only time i have landed at that one EVER was once in the single player campaign <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> . btw i dont think this is a spoiler, it´s common discussion...and if a player is SO into the game that he actually wants to look at every single planet´s background in the game to find all 5 ships (which i doubt), then wtf is he doing reading tlr at all? i mean, if some noob is THAT into it, then he firstly needs to get a life, and secondly needs to stay away from tlr. i mean, what if i let slip that there´s a really good server called &quot;elite?&quot; if i accidently do, i´ve just given it away; he doesnt have to search server by server...     yeah! lets spam them to death so they disrespect/ignore TLR even more!!! great plan mates! of course, if this were a paper i would have already signed it, but petitions in forums dont work with microsoft - they suck too badly to pay attention to what their customers think <img src=smilies/icon_smile_tongue.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> . if only it were someone cool like blizzard... but lets take a look at what their missing (its not just a few bugs that we´re looking at)...this is a list of what a legit (non-modding) player doesnt have: - class 10 graviton shields - freighter class 10 shields - a reason to use the liberty ships after lvl 5 - a way to upgrade those ships - thrusters that dont max at 100 (why even have the label otherwise?) - mercs - faction tags (you start with [Navy but you can´t get most tags) - missions at primus and gammu - an inter-system chat to all players - an interactive console (besides &quot;/invite PlayerName&quot<img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> - a chat for players browsing the server list - a favorites list for servers - use of the extra hardpoints that MOST SHIPS have and NEVER use. - ability to buy ships like a &quot;large transport&quot; - more balance among class 10 guns - character skin selection (besides trent) - different role packages (trader, fighter) that have special stats* *i am guessing they wanted to do this but couldnt, as evidenced by the way there are &quot;Starting Ship&quot; and &quot;Starting Credits&quot; stats when you make a new character. if you dont mod, how else can you change that number? answer is, you cant. so the only explanation is that they put it there, intending it to do something if you click a different character type...but they never got around to character types. yeah, as you said, theres only a couple minor bugs in freelancer, and everything else is fine <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> .

    umm, if you want a clan like that, make it yourself <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> the best way to go about this without paying any money is to somehow convince tlr to host your site for yor, or otherwise sign up for either angelfire or geocities, and get a proboards or ezboards forum, and work from there. the services are mainly absolute crap but its all free, and it works. see you later, [NTBulldog <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> .

    excellent idea, the clan pit would be a great place to start a newsletter, since it is basically a giant database for all the clans. if you want help with it let me know and ill do what i can... using the &quot;TCP&quot; tag might not be a good idea though because it makes it look like the pit is just another clan, where players get togeather and recruit more players...ive seen clans formed just so they can pk other clans, even other clans that they dont know anything about like BoS. they just say, &quot;hey lets make a clan to kill those people, just for fun.&quot;

    &quot;Elite is not a server for newbies.&quot; amen mate. if you are new to the game i dont suggest elite, only try it out when you have some experience. new players and newbs are not the same thing - a &quot;newb&quot; is someone not well adapted to the game, whereas a &quot;new player&quot; is anyone starting a new character. and good players flying new characters have little trouble avoiding the pking in omicron theta by staying away from the border worlds until they are ready <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> . i rarely see any pking in liberty, thx to the deputies.

    i agree with moby - it looks like pay-to-play is the new big fashion, even blizzard is going that direction with WoW. the only way you can keep pay-to-play out of it is by having a setup where you connect to specific servers that are owned by players, not companies - freelancer, jedi knight ii, and so on. places like ESO (place to play age of mythology), battle.net (blizzard´s massive network), and the zone (crappy old-fashioned microsoft microsoft version of battle.net) are all moving to either making you pay to connect, or making you pay by the hour. the upside to battle.net, and eso (although not so much the zone <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> ) are that they are fairly stable, and relyable. the downside is that having those huge networks of servers all over the world with T-5000 connections is expensive, so they are all making you pay for it. luckily there are games like mohaa, jk2, and fl, where you run your own server, and while it is free, you sacrifice stability. persoanlly ill take free-but-unstable over pay-to-play but reliable.     so where have you been mate? im not flying a humpback anymore, i have a totally decked out eagle...i was looking forward to completely destroying your titan, but you are so far too cowardly to do anything but talk. when i offered to duel in my humpback you turned me down and ran away and refused to even use your titan character, so now that i have an eagle i suppose you are in mortal terror and staying away from browclposia at all costs, right? prove me wrong.
