never thought that you need that camera offset in your cmp model... if you are using the latest ms3d then you can use a dds texture... no more flipping if you use this texture.... Just remember to make MIP0 into MIPS for the dds texture to work in your MAT file. PS. for missing textures... check your MAT file for typo error. i´ve looking at it... i found something... can you make the hardpoint icon (the basic gun) show x,y,z axes. This will help us to view the guns easily if it is upside down or not. Just make them more visible, the axes that is... BTW... This is what you did i think... you just replaced an existing ship icon and replaced the material... also renamed the file. This is a common mistake... There are two solutions with this... 1. Use the commodity icon files that. The only downside is there is a chance that somebody uses your same icon file (the inside). <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> 2. Use the CRC calculator. This will ensure that you use unique ids for your ship... check out the tut on this one on ship icons. yes you can use my ships and edit the shiparch entries so those ships will be set to your liking... as for editinf the skins of the non ghost ships... what do you mean by this...
