My favorite set up is(for the Eagle): 2x del Cids 2x Nomad Energy Blasters 2x Nomad Energy Cannons Sunslayer torps Ripper mines Screw the turret, it´s useless on the Eagle.

i would replace the kraken 2s with Tizarona del Cids. just me.....

Does this mean i can shoot Liquidsteel if i see him? can i? can i? i want to shoot him...

no more worries about it. i got sick of this game. between NEO on elite, and the unlimited amounts of cheaters on all the other servers i played on, i quit. this game is off my harddrive for good.

eh well, i don´t hold grudges.

You should talk Cooldude... last i checked, NEO wants 30 million credits &quot;protection&quot; money from me alone. they even had a search party of a dozen or more people hunting me down at one point... a search party that included you, cooldude. It was funny tho, being chased halfway across Sirius by half the players on the frigging server. But they never really caught me, i just left the server once i was cornered at Tau 31. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

The other night, a friend of mine who was sick of the Elite server gave me <i>all </i> of his money and left the server for good. He gave me a sum to tune of 5.3 million credits.

I have about 24 hours clocked into that server. about half that time was spent being PK´d by cheaters/hackers. I moved to the Elite server to avoid the cheating.

The rampant cheating/hacking killed the server last night. i was PK´d 30 times in a row by several cheaters with uber shields and super-duper weapons(Nomad disruptors?), base camping Manhattan. i just kept trying to get away. and i was in a friggin Sabre! There were about 3 or 4 cheaters alone in manhattan space. completely ruined the experience for me.

i just tried it again after i posted here... finally was able to connect. but then the server admin for Elite announced he would be shutting it down in 10 minutes, so i only got about 15 minutes in before i had to quit. didn´t get to experience much, except a fight with Xenos. took me 4 minutes to kill ONE of them. that was funny!

i´m on a broadband connection that let´s me connect to other online games with ping times less than 40... yet i cannot connect to the &quot;global server&quot; to play Freelancer online. Any explanations to THAT?

okay nevermind, i can´t even connect to the global server.

if i can find the password to elite, you will have one new player....

I think we should include the entire NEO clan. Tasiin flat out admitted that he likes to rough people up.

I don´t expect anyone to like me, and i don´t like any of you. fair enough? BTW, i still don´t think this game requires any skill. once you get an Eagle or Sabre, you outmatch everyone NOT in an Eagle or Sabre. It´s all about who has the bigger guns. And once more, to get it into your thick skulls, i will try MP out for myself. It won´t hurt for me to try it, and if half of the things StevieB and Holliday say is true, i should have fun. if not, i have MOH to fall back on. That and about a dozen other games.
