I have a ten inch Meade reflector. You won´t see color in nebula. It takes a long exposure to soak up enough light to see any color. A really big scope (30 inches or more) you might start seeing color. Stars are another matter. I have seen stars so blue it took my breath away.

If any of the admins on Elite happen to spot a character named Killmen while they are on have a chat with him about politeness. I seriously doubt they made enough on Freelancer to justify a sequel, or even an add-on. They would have had to make “Finding Nemo” kind of money to cover FIVE years of development. I tried Freelancer with a joystick and it sucks beyond belief. You can’t reverse the mouse axis in the game, so the joystick works backwards (push the stick forward and you go up, pull back and you go down; it’s backwards). Which means it sucks. Yeah fun bunch of guys too. A friend and I ran into a couple AE in Manhattan. We were minding our own business when the first 12 year-old blew us both up; unprovoked. I am just getting started on the server so I am a level 5 in a Starflea. Idiot number two tried to get me to launch so he could blow up everything around me, but promised not to kill me. Now there is some advanced logic. It turns out he was at least a bit more polite and finally accepted the fact that I don’t PvP. I didn’t loose anything when genius number one blew me up, and I am aware that getting killed is a possibility, but if you are going to try and “sell” a service you might want to work on the social skills. To answer the original post. I mapped my Saitek X45 to the mouse in a matter of seconds. It sucks really bad. You can´t invert the mouse in this game, so pushing the stick forward makes you fly UP instead of down, which is more intuitive. Inversely pulling the stick back puts you in a “dive”. It was horrible. I switched back to the mouse as fast as I could. Ne frustra vixisse videar

Given a choice between dying, and loosing my cargo, or giving up my cargo I would rather die. Particularly if you´re stupid enough to use missiles. It would be much more satisfying to deny an idiot my cargo particularly considering I will loose it either way. Ne frustra vixisse videar

What would the point be? If you kill another player their cargo goes with them; it is lost. You can’t tractor it into your own hold. So they loose their cargo and you get nothing. If you threaten them with death unless they turn over their cargo and they give in, they have lost their cargo. So there is no reason to give in to another players pirate demands. I would rather die and loose my cargo then to give in to blackmail. Either way my cargo is gone. I suggest finding something else to do. Ne frustra vixisse videar
