    i do not like pilotable capital ships in anyway. its not realistic to have a truck drive like a bicycle or for every one to fly something similar to giant buildings for the big gun.. those big ships belong belong to the house corperation army only. gunboats belong to the house corperations only as well.. I want to just fly small ships where its more fun like that. as for freighters.... they belong to large corperations. ok, for my idea for improving the freelancer univers is not to make the ships stronger by every faction(liberty being the weakest, and outcasts/corsairs being the strongest). Even a fleet of liberty heavy fighters couldent take out a sabre it was kind of a joke. Also, have more different types missions like Patrol, Transport cargo to another station instead of all those combat type missions there are out there. Guns and shield sizes shuold be seperated to 5 sized. Guns should by cut down to(Old size = New size): 1-2 = X Small(1) 3-4 = Small(2) 5-6 = Medium(3) 7-8 = Large(4) 9-10 = X-Large(5) as for the multiplayer mode, there should be at least a Guild feature where you can create your own guild name and have some players join it instead of having some idiot impersonate you by simple makine your clan name and then your name(IE: NEO_SOme_Retard). and change &quot;A player has died: Wogo&quot; to &quot;-=Destructor=- has destroyed Wogo&quot; if a player gets killed by another player. the balancing idea might happen but the multiplayer features, and different mission types besides combat wont sadly is because DA probably doesn´t bother to work on freelancer anymore. <img src=smilies/icon_smile_sad.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    And I doubt it will come out either. Though I don´t really believe in rumors. If I hear anything about freelancer 2 in development, then I hope the controls are more like flying a ship with a joystick than using a mouse.

    I could just drool over the early alpha version of the game because it had a joystick control with an elite type radar back in the old days. Today, I was disappointed because they took out both. Eventhough I still suck at twitch based combat.

    People actually complain about space games not being realistic. I disagree because its mostlikley supposed to be like fantasy as such. At least it won´t happen in reality.

    I wonder if theres any screenshots that are taken while they were playin on the Elite server. Though I never got the chance of getting on there because it was always full.

    If digital anvil adds the ability for single players to add battleships in the game, than fights would be kind of unbalanced. And I would leave for goods. I would be the only one to stay in a VHF and everyone flying in a battleship, that would kind of pointless. Besides, they belong to house corperation army. Even if they costed 300 million, people would waste time to just get it because they love battleships. I would rather stick to flying a small craft. This isn´t eve-online. Ok, in other suggestions, if a VHF like a Sabre is taking house corperation HF like flies, than mabie the´ll send in gunboats or battleships to destroy the VHF. Because VHFs are considered a real threat.

    Pretty much the most disturbing thread I came across ever. Now in freelancer, you would have to fly a civilian ship with no guns attached to it and have the police/military have it.
