Well it went back out again, so all I can think is the built in video card is hitting the shitter.

NVM for the help. Just installed windows on it and all of a sudden the screen started working...

For almost four years now I've had an HP Pavilion DV9000 that has given me nothing but hell since a month after my warranty ran up. To prove my extent, I once took it to my computer guy to see why it kept blue screening while trying to install an OS and after a week he even told me the computer was possessed. Anyways to my point.
After thinking it finally kicked the can months ago, I found out the screen just wasn't working as well as one of the two HDD were bad when I had a thought of what may have been wrong with it. Well I have an external screen plugged into it and the display works, but the monitor on the laptop doesn't show anything even though the backlight still works. Everything else works fine too, so I'm wondering what I should look for to fix that original screen.

doesn't FLMM have the option to do it for you?

The cutscene when Trent says, "Sure, as long as it doesn't involve..." = I can't remember the exact list of things he said but I remember him saying it. Laughed so hard when I heard that.

Love that answer. Can't go wrong with that.

Got a couple holes in the flag, but none the less flying.
Either way, welcome (back?). We're trying to bring this site back around and hope you can help with that.

isn't there a tutorial for this somewhere?

I know this is lengthy, but step by step what is it doing, and give me as much detail as possible.

FLMM won't let me load it, but just combing over it I've found this:
market_ships:
[BaseGood]
base = AR01_01_Base
...
marketgood = oe_package, 16, -1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1
marketgood = , 1, -1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1
marketgood = oi_package, 1, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1[BaseGood]
base = AR01_06_Base
...
marketgood = oe_package, 16, -1, 0, 0, 1, 1, 1
marketgood = , 1, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1
marketgood = , 1, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1
marketgood = oi_package, 1, -1, 1, 1, 0, 1, 1and almost every one after that has several if not more of those kind of entries.
I would start there with your problem, as that's all I could see off the first glance. Once I get more time this weekend I'll rip it a part and see if there's more. School just started for me so yeah...

Yet there are several community made games that reuse a lot of original assets, and they're often overlooked. Plus we're coming up on 8 years now since FLs release, and Digital Anvil is no more. MS has bigger fish to fry.
"Ah I can speed anytime. I never get caught and the police have bigger problems then just me."I suspect players may want to use this guide to help expedite the geometry of other scenery assets including ships and static props.
Can't we just look into the .3db's and .cmp's? -
Careful what you do man, M$ doesn't take people using their stuff without rights (money sent their way) kindly.

hm, thought I was the only one with that problem.
