i dont mind the censor now that it doesent censor my website link (because of the 1st 3 letters before the rull). it used to whey back when, i had to put a space in it with "but ignore the space" at the end. much better now. http://www.kokrull.com home of ** uk server ** Edited by - git on 10/16/2005 2:44:53 AM

fire fox, = speed IE = it works and building a site for cross browser compatability can be a right pain in the proverbial. someone mentioned that ie didnt do regular updates other than sp2? i think you are missing the point, sp2, is a service pack as was sp1. but in short its a pack/collection of updates that have been bundeled together(you can get them all seperatly). and if you go to M$´s site and check for critical updates i dare say that you should find more, i like the rest of you dont trust bill, or his company, (which is probably why i dont update, that and sp2 conflicting with so much i do. jebus it evn stops my ftp from working) just my 2 cents for what its worth. http://www.kokrull.com home of ** uk server **

there was one on the ´ol atari st that whenever you clicked your mouse it would start a 1x1 pixel going around the screen eating whatever was under neath it to a black line, (best discription i can come up with is like a etch ´o´ sketch) it also wouldent let you click anything to close anything, (more black dots going around the screen) but as with most ST things a cold boot would fix it. (unless you had a hd, which were rare in those days) http://www.kokrull.com home of ** uk server **

i had one of kazza yrs ago, dont know what it was called but it was a bugger to get rid of, it kept filling my hd up with dodgy sounding files (porn, hacks, keygens, cracks etc), all dead small, but reproduced quicker than a rabit on viagra, as fast as i deleted em, there was twice as many back... as i recall i fixed it with the ´ol fav´ format C: virus writer suck, tho i remember writing a program that sat in the reset vector (memory resident) on the ST, but mine never reproduced, just displayed a menu scroller and could be removed by doing a cold boot.. http://www.kokrull.com home of ** uk server **

Happy birthday dude. Now you have some cheer in your otherwise bleak life!

<font face=´trebuchet ms, Verdana, Arial, Helvetica´ size=2> and they call me a git, lol btw, what happened to "reply with quote"? http://www.kokrull.com home of ** uk server **

eraser, having much the same kind of gaming background before making your final choice, bare this inmind, the ps3 will be backwards compatable, which means stacks of stuff out there, the new xbox 360 will be backward compatable if you send off your old software for recompiling, (acording to some gadget show on tv) obviously the stuff in the shops would also be recompiled. (gawd knows whos gunna foot the bill for this) so unless you send your old stuff in, it wont work on the new system. if i´m wrong dont shoot me down, tis just what i heard on the/a gadget show, personaly i will stick to the pc, i only upgrade the bits rather than the whole system as with consoles. hmm, anyone know anything about clusters? http://www.kokrull.com home of ** uk server ** Edited by - git on 10/9/2005 7:13:47 PM

who can forget the elephant bit, a little before my time but i have seen it on enough other programs lol

cheers chips, i havent been by there site for a while, ahh well, i hear David braben has setteled his dispute and is back on the case with something new, i cant exactly remember where i saw it, but if i see a link i will post it, (for those that dont know, braben wrote Elite, dont know what elite is? Click here there should be some info there, but without elite, there would be no fl) re joysticks, you cant beat a anolog for that rotational docking, lol, but i guess its what you get used to, i found the mouse tricky to start with after spending months in the x-universe, but after fl, going to play x2, it was a nightmare getting back into it. just played the demo of serious sam 2,, looking good. (humour of duke nukem, but more action) http://www.kokrull.com home of ** uk server ** Edited by - git on 10/1/2005 2:55:49 AM Edited by - git on 10/1/2005 2:56:56 AM
