    I love when people summon topics from last year. <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Anyway some tip for ip banning: if the guy have static ip then its easy but if it comes to dynamic ip then banning range like 12.34.250.* isnt enough. Youll have to ban whole ISP(or isp´s region). either get ISP ip string or do &quot;whois&quot; on the IP and most likely you´ll get all randges this ISP using. they can be 82.13.*.* and 121.45.*.* I am not an FL admin but from experience of running http servers and trying to enter other forums from which i was banned i have to tell you. If someone really wants to get inside he will get in.

    Why the hell anyone wants to be a mod??? It hard work to follow all those kids spamming around. Why? just to be able to say &quot;click&quot;? Or is it something about be in power? Mod is not power its obligation. note: if you after decorating your name with &quot;(moderator)&quot; you´ll be bad mod anyway.

  • Here´s a tech question

    Just to be sure you´ve done that: Start &gt; Connect to: hover over your modem, click right mouse and click properties. In general tab on &quot;connect using select window&quot; select your modem again below click configure. In modem configuration window select maximum speed to 115200bps, also enable all hardware feat. in box below. Note that winModems highly depended on their drivers (unlike real modems). So as always, even though now days its hard to find old drivers, get WinXP/2000/NT drivers(in this order). Im pretty sure NT drivers might work.

    I am kinda power hungry over every proccess on my pc. even though i have enough memory i still disabled alot of the &quot;services&quot;. Note its NOT only memory you lose its cpu time. msconfig is the way to go. To learn about your computer and know what his doing. If you afraid of it... well i suggest you buy PlayStation. ps. msconfig doesnt remove services it disable them and unless you enable the service it cant run. Unlike the other way when you put it on &quot;manual&quot; it can be run anyway(trojan will activate them again). or worse when you only stop it and it will run again on next restart or request.

Frankly i didnt wanted to reply to this topic anymore because its going irritating but I realized your reaction could be was harsh becuase you see certain truth. Maybe not. Lets go by examples and take Data Storm(which i think is master is piece) Over the last few days 3 updates. Some guy did another ships. Freelancer Rebalance mod gone from 3.30 fix to 3.30 general fix. My little suggetion is cut the &quot;spam&quot; on the front page(news). I´ve trying in the past few Mods which later got update and update. I feel they boring and alot of the news mods/apps imho are not much. But thats my personal veiw. The &quot;drastic&quot; suggestion would be something like making side bar with new downloads and include there the other guy new ships, patches, etc.. keeping the main list clean for example. This is not about Moby vs TLR. If someone else think its boring then lets discuss what can be done or if it can be done or if bragib has time to do it. If im alone on this then forget it and move on. Ill continue to ignore the news. - fuel.

Its also good place to take some crap out of your computer and optimize it. As well as checking msconfing startup ****.

Why? open few months ago news page, what you see? with few exceptions all news is almost copied just some numbers changed. That was pre-suggestion post. I could be alone on this. I am not going to suggest anything because, unless i know im not alone any suggestion will be pointless. For some reason i dont care about how pretty the screenshots are. maybe this is me. I hope its more clear now. if no just drop it.
