As far as pissing off the Scum of elite goes.. we hardly care. Everyone except for those 3 power-tripping wanna-be scum clans and their psycophants likes and supports the Raiders. Actually there IS another proactive solution to the cargo spawning... here it is... IF you can get EVERYONE in NY to dock, the cargo will disappear. We managed to do this once and it worked. It is a pain in the ass though, and took nearly 20 minutes to get everyone docked or out of the system.

If you are interested in neo-haters try here... http://members.iinet.net.au/~slake You need not worry about NEO on any server but elite. It´s the only one they fly on with regularity. And sadly yes, WP has become a NEO wanna-be.

The F1 key WAS used during a fight.. and TWICE by two different NEO pilots within 5 minutes of each other. And were it not for your disability, you would have also read that they BOTH ADMITTED IT. Nothing justifies the use of the F1 key to escape during a fight. Fight, Escape, or Die. Any clan that attempt to justify the use of the F1 key to escape during a fight is pretty sad IMO, no matter how ´elite´ you feel yourself to be. With us, it´s survival of the fittest and we are very impatient with certain peoples whom we decide to be unworthy... Ideals? Elitism? Unworthy? Those are some interesting words considering... considering what you say? Only that two members of NEO were hunted this night in the New London system by two ´Raiders in drakes. One changed characters to Gamma... the other (NEO/$uperman) was cornered and engaged, when all of a sudden *poof*. He disappears. Apparently elitism is not so much skill as it is the frequent use of the F1 key to avoid being blown into the space-garbage one crawled from. While the Raiders have frequently chosen to flee NEO´s gang-bang attempts when outnumbered, we have done so with conventional gameplay. NEO has chosen to call us cowards for flying away from a 3v1. Apparently they are not educated into the understanding of the word ´irony´. No Raider has (to my knowledge) ever used the F1 key during a fight. This sort of lameness would not be tolerated within our ranks. Elitism.. One of these new players flew with my mate and I last night, and was modded. details and screens were sent to Stinger. Render: Face it.. there is nothing you can do about cheaters except report them. Stinger works very hard at eliminating cheating dung-eaters, so help him out. The only other alternative is to cheat yourself, and you will be banned for it. If you actually want to be useful, develop some server tools that fight cheating.

Not sure what you are talking about Render. Everyone on elite has pulse weapons? Of course! Anyone engaging in PvP needs a shield-stripper or two... ..what´s your point? Cloaked cheaters are to be ignored. They are losers and hunting them gives them exactly what they want.... attention their mommy never gave them. The few modders that make their way onto elite are hunted and banned. Elite is one of the best servers there is at keeping the cheating scum out. If you intend to bring modded weapons on to ´fight Pkers´, or any mods for that matter, your lifetime there will be short. Also Elite already has the Server Deputies that do their best to enforce the rules... including no PK in liberty. PK elsewhere is well within the rules, and your presence will just mean more targets <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

Taisin I think what my esteemed leader is trying to say is two-fold. 1) Semi-Organized battles with 5-10 per side with clear goals for victory are a great way to stomp on an enemy ego. I realize NEO may be to low-brow for something like this, but Slake likes to give ya guys the benefit of the doubt even when I am not so inclined. 2) The fact that we do not engage you does not make us cowards. Our interest in borderworld Eagle fights is truly not that high. Also we enjoy the frustration that is often apparent with our ´cowardice´ when 3-4 NEOs come after one of us and fail to make a kill. The fact is we are not a VHF power-clan. Our ´Raider´ VHF ships were created merely as a means of self defense. If you want to make war on us for defending ourselves, then you will do so on our terms or not at all. Get it? I recently lost a wing (and weapons) on a mission. THEN I was killed by a player coming into dock... ...when I respawned the weapons were back, but I seem to remember losing weapons in a different situation... maybe it was single player... can´t remember. And yes, the mines in the mine fields do NOT move and are proximity triggered. My only tactic for evading them in a LF or HF is to slow to normal speed and try my best to avoid them, using regular manuevering and strafe keys, stopping to recharge when my shields fail. The BEST tactic is to get a VHF or some other ornery ship with a tough hull. I can fly straight through gas-pocket fields with my Eagle, and my hull can take 5-6 mine detonations without problem. If you lose shields STOP and let them recharge. Other than that, mines just suck. lol.

I have posted the solution to this in several threads here and on Lancers HQ. It´s not your system, the Global List Server is down. It happens occasionally. the file FLIPDIRECT.HTA in your freelancer program directory will allow you to use server IP address to connect directly... simply double-click it. When inputting the port be sure to use ??? instead of a number if you don´t know the port. Some servers don´t use the standard ports. From what you said about your firewall, this should not be a problem for you. Some server IP´s are posted here in the Server forum. Otherwise I suggest you write down such info somewhere so you have it handy.
