Hmm i actually think DA DIDN´T rush FL. This game is almost perfect. I mean come on, only one patch - and that was for server/technical fixes. Look at games like Championship Manager 4 or Age of Mythology - between them they´ve had over 15 patches, FL hasn´t even had one that has actually edited the gameplay or data significantly. I for one think DA have released a very good, very sound game. As to your original thread "question" - as such - i´ll check this out in Shikoku =).

Yeah you´ve somehow disobeyed the rules on the server. Are you sure you didn´t PK inside Liberty, run any bots/mods or cheat in any way? If not then yes email the admins - they´ll be happy to help and better the situation.

I´m "Crude" on **uk server** and i must admit i kill players quite alot for no apparant reason but its always out of Liberty - if your scared of getting PKed - don´t go out of LIberty until you can at least mildly defend yourself.

No =(. Downloaded the latest Direct X and it didn´t detect any problems with directplay. I guess i´m going to have to find another game. Thanks for your help moby.

No i´ve played online plenty of times on multiple servers. This just randomly happened, i don´t have a firewall either.

None of what was suggested has worked, i still can´t connect. I´ve uninstalled FL, then re-installed, installed the latest direct x, moved freelancer to my larger hard drive and so forth. It still dosn´t work.

Damn, when i go into the multiplayer, at the top right where it says connecting to global server blah blah, before it it says. "disconnected from Global Server, connection unavailiable". Or something along those lines. Is this normal? Edited by - DeaconCrude on 19-08-2003 13:29:41

Also, regarding Corwin, if you have the right to speak up and vent your views, then surely if NEO are facist, which from what i´ve read can honestly say that their far from it, then don´t they have the legal right to express themselves in whichever way they please also?
