Trying a little too hard there methinks <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> A select few of my X2 controls are customivable, but it is quite tolerable. Slowdown is fixed in part with a patch. The story on X2 is you have to want to play it. Yes it´s a pill, but it´s an awfully tasty one to me <img src=smilies/icon_smile_big.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

    *feels loved* Actualy, now I´m back again! Not two hours after this threaad was born I was on the way back to the hospital. Everything went to pot all at once.   • Girls, Depression, and one hell of a stomach ache

    This thread looks to contain so much wisdom... but I feel not like reading. I´m 16, 17 this month (16th... remember that folks!) and I have never kissed a girl I cared about, never had a girlfriend I liked, much less loved, and I just had the equivalent of a 9 inch nail pulled from my back. I feel your pain <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Advice: computer games, food, family (or friends perhaps). Sleep is good too... I´ll go do that.

    What´s so bad about being called a yank anyway? Hick I can see as being insulting but the term &quot;yankees&quot; has been in use since the revolution and refered then to all americans. In the civil war, the south didn´t consider themselves american anymore, so they had to be sumpn else.

    Why would everything run backwards? And while I like the concept of everything expanding for a while but eventualy drawing back together, there is for example an escape velocity from solar orbit. Voyeger achieved it... at it´s speed, it won´t start falling back for an infinite amount of time, although it will go increasingly slower. Perhaps the galaxies are moving at the escape velocity of the universe?

    EDIT: Bah. Taw beat me <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Wilson did a heck of a job during the war years. He ran the country smoothly despite military demands for material and sold the war to a population that didn´t want it, all through various agencies and a few very insightfull people. I laud him for that, but the way he handled the peace process is what gets me. True, he meant well, but he screwed up his own plans (which were admirable btw) at the table with France and England by chosing his delegation from people who shared his views... democrats... and congress had a republican majority. Hence, they wouldn´t aprove it. He refused to compromise with the republicans on the 14 points and League of Nations. Not that it helped that the other powers embarased Germany and esentialy stole land from Russia, who wasn´t at the confrence. Made a mess of the whole thing and fueled Nazism like Taw said. I´ve often thought that if Hitler had been content to bide his time rather than Blitz through Europe he might have gotten away with much more.   • My waste of missiles

    I only use misiles on the Kusari naval forces re-balance mods. They are so fast and erratic you can´t get enough hits to kill with most weapons. But, they do love to fly right at you, and a cannonball or catipult once the shield is down does the trick nearly every time. Quite a satisfying boom I might add.
