A lot of people have been speculating that the descendants of the Alliance will fight the descendants of the Coalition. Now I may not be correct, but seeing as the Houses of Sirius are so splintered, doesn´t it make sense that the Coalition would be splintered in the same fashion? Also, another critical point is that it took SLEEPER SHIPS just to get to Sirius. The logistics for any sort of large scale invasion would be mind staggering. They may never forget, but they´ve got some problems with their travel itinerary. Now, a theory of mine is that the Sirians manage to get their own version of a Hypergate working. But that is just speculation on my part. I may be completely wrong, but I believe that those are valid issues that must be resolved. For the Coalition!!

Yes, I know that the original movie is not canon in any way or form. The final published movie in the game is correct. But here´s another thought. If it took the Alliance to launch sleeper ships in order to arrive at Sirius, how long and cost effective would a Coalition invasion of the colonies really be? It´s been 800 years too, the Coalition is probably as fractious as the colonies, and unless they have some advanced FTL, mounting an invasion would be very difficult.

Well, I´m also their friend... Doesn´t matter though, I killed them all anyway... For the Coalition!!

You´re right. It was WW1. The Alsace-Lorraine (Rhineland) territory was coveted by both France and Germany. Germany lost it after WW1, but it was recaptured in WW2; and not wanting to make another mistake with war reparations, the Allies let Germany keep most of the territories it gained during the war. Partly because the Soviets had taken Eastern Europe. For the Coalition!!

Actually, Bretonia refers to the entire United Kingdom. England is just a part of the U.K., granted it´s the most historically significant, but nevertheless, it is a part of the U.K. And it should in fact be spelled "Britannia." "Bretonia" is just a derivation. For the Coalition!!

You know what´s weird? I was friendly with the Lane Hackers, but hostile to the Outcasts. When I approached Mactan, it turned hostile. That´s even more strange. For the Coalition!!

Don´t you mean, "Mulcatus Interruptus"? mulco, mulcare, mulcavi, mulcatus - to beat up, to mug interrumpo, interrumpere, interrupi, interruptus - to interrupt, to break off For the Coalition!!

From Encyclopedia Mythica (http://www.pantheon.org) Osiris was the Egyptian god of the underworld, although he was also worshipped as a fertility, resurrection, and vegetation god. He was married to Isis, a sky goddess. He was father to Horus, the god of sky, and protector of the dead. Osiris was killed by his brother Seth, who shut his body in a chest and threw it into the Nile, where it washed up onto the shore and was trapped in a huge tree. The King Byblos turned it into a pillar in his palace. Isis (who had been searching for her husband) discovered the trunk, and retrieved the trunk and the body. While Isis was away, Seth found the body, and chopped it up into many pieces, and scattered them throughout Egypt. Isis and her sister, Nephthys, found the pieces and made wax models of them to give to priests to be worshipped. When they found all of his pieces, they were so sad they wailed loudly enough for Re, the father god, to have pity on them. He sent Anubis and Thoth to help. They mummified Osiris, and put his body in a lion headed pier. Isis changed into a kite and fanned breath into Osiris. He was not allowed to stay in the land of the living, and was sent to the underworld to serve as king, and to judge the souls of the dead. For the Coalition!!

Kyushu is the southmost island of Japan. Tohoku is a northern province on the island of Honshu. Malta is a small island just south of Italy. Crete is a larger island south of Greece. The weird thing is that "Bretonia" and "Rheinland" do not even exist. Unless they are derivations of "Britannia" and "Rhineland". Of course, many times in history the British have been refered to as Bretons. So that might be the case. Actually, I think "Rheinland" might be the German spelling. But I´m not sure. Anyone speak German here? For the Coalition!!
