OOC: more juicy Love Shark goodness! -:- <i> We barely remember who or what came before this precious moment, We are choosing to be here right now. Hold on, stay inside This holy reality, this holy experience. Choosing to be here in, This body. This body holding me. Be my reminder here that I am not alone in This body, this body holding me, feeling eternal All this pain is an illusion. </i> The searing hot iron forced deep into her flesh, instantly burning away the skin surrounding the area. A cry of pain echoed throughout the bowels of the ship, the sound travelling through the cracks and crevices, the small amount that there was, a spiritual energy travelling with it, unseen and unheard. Again, as soon as she had made a sound, the sadistic brutes surrounding her beat her until she made no sound, and then placed her back into her horrific cell. Her tears stained the rencid stone floor, as her body began to heal the injuries sustained through today´s torture. It was pain, then recovery, an then pain all over again. The fairytales were wrong. There was no white knight in her mind. Only dark shadows of what used to be good and pure. -:- <i> Beauty is what the eyes behold. And you burn brighter than most. I chased you thru the midnight streets, To be where I could speak freely. I didn’t care what tomorrow held, I felt the world turning only for us. Only bliss now for you and me, Rise up let life’s kiss send us reeling. And unlike the times before, From yesterday comes tomorrow. When life comes alive the past moves aside </i> Indigo had been circling for a good five minutes when she felt something. We all felt something. There was no sound, but there was something, something that was eminating a feeling. Pain. Arania and I looked at each other and began to frantically search for a way out of the room. The feeling was almost overpowering, to know that something was suffering so much, was in so much agony. I ran up to the far wall and began to pound on the ornate decorations, my strength denting the fragile decorations, the gold falling to the floor, the sound echoing thorughout the hangar. The wall seemed to be hollow, almost like a door, but just covered to make it blend in. I focused all the energy i had and forced my fist into the weak wall. There was a loud crash, as the massive metal structure gave way, leaving a gaping hole in the wall. I turned around to Arania. "Wait until those visions get less frequent, then find Quetzacoatl. Don´t risk it until then." And with that I walked through the new hole with Indigo swooping through after me. <i> When I first came to this island that I called by own name I was happy in this fortress, in my exile I remained But the hours grew so empty and the ocean sent her waves In the figure of a woman and she pulled me out to sea When you come down to take me home send my soul away When you come round you’ll make me whole send my soul away </i> -:- You Wanna Revolution?

I know that this sounds rather drastic, but it serves a great purpose in a lot of my writing. It´s a great tool in writing, and can overcome some writer´s block or plot cornering. Kill your major character. The one that has been in the whole thing. just, make a big scene and where he would normally survive, just have him be overwhelmed and kick the bucket. I dunno if it would help, but yeah, its something that i sometimes consider when writing. and no, I dont hate you for it.

This might be an exscuse to upgrade my really dodgy CPU as well. everything else is cool, just not that. (I might need some more RAM too. I´ve only got 512 MB. and the CPU is a celeron. no need for further explination) -:- You Wanna Revolution?

I must admit X2 is very intimidating at first, and quite hard to get into. I keep wanting to start over, so i can better invest my money. I wanted to see where the storyline went so thats why i went with a fighter rather than a trader. But I realise that the meat of the game is in the factory management and such. If the interface were easier, and it was a tad easier to start up I would be a lot happier (but probably a lot more bored of it) And I did resolve my internet registration issue. The Abbyss was the one to talk to. -:- You Wanna Revolution?

I gave up on actually trying to sell the damn Argon Mercury, so I just started again and got a Boron Mako after mission 2. any recommendations for equipment? -:- You Wanna Revolution?
-
I have a picture of me and the actual regkey (for the X2 website, not the game, that key actually works) And i found out how to repair ships, now im trying to figure out how to sell a freakin ship. And Chips: i need to access the downloads in order to get a manual. bear with this rather bewildered X2 Player. (you cant compare X2 and FL. never ever. X2 is simulation, precise to most details, while FL is almost pure arcade style. ah well, that´s probably been said before) -:- You Wanna Revolution?

I understand the desire to move away from dA, but there really is no better place to set it up. I would rather stay on dA rather than take all my stuff and repost it. no offence, but the dA group option would be eaiser, and would attract more traffic and attention. -:- You Wanna Revolution?

I´m still yet to see proof of that claim Wilde. Give me a definite statement from the band and i´ll believe you, because you´re the only one who´s mentioned it. no one else knows about it. -:- You Wanna Revolution?

I´ve passed on the messages from here to his family, and they appreciate your sentiments. As for me, i´ve accepted it. It´s kinda almost a relief to know he´s somewhere better rather than lying in a bed struggling to breathe. -:- You Wanna Revolution?

Hence, one of the reasons why i like wumpscut - purely about the sound. Besides, it sounds like they´re taking the piss. -:- Get that bob marley wannabe mutha****er out of here! Edited by - Love Shark on 9/19/2005 12:35:21 AM

The only advice i have to you is to find something that you do that can induce a state of total relaxation, of toal nothingness, something that induces a ´zen´ moment. Be it either a walk in the park, music, art, or just sitting on the roof looking at the scenery, it can be helpful to just lose your mind in nothing once in a while. I cant tell you exactly what to do, im not psychic, it is something that you would have to find on your own. and, demonslayer: Do you have anything decent to say? To me violence and drugs are not the answer. Personally I´d like to see you get in a state like some of these people so I can poke fun at your condition... wait i already do. verbal diaorrhea is a serious condition. -:- You wanna revolution?

OOC: I´m still writing. I should be finishing this up soon, the storyline involving the Confederates might have to wait til another story. Anyway, on with the show. -:- <i>Just the thought of those eyes, watching somebody else, burns me, those arms holding somebody else, burns me, and those hands, touching somebody else, kills me. oh Fate, put out the light, just put out the light. </i> I stepped out of the small fighter and looked around at the eloborate chamber where we were held. I scanned the walls, looking for an exit, looking for some guide to where Erin might be held captive. The room was almost hermitically sealed, no obvious way in or out, not obvious doors, vents or service ducts. It was almost as if the ship was so well designed that it didn´t require maintenance. Ornate decorations lined all the walls, all covered in what appeared to be gold. I turned back to the ship to see Arania stumble out of the hold of he fighter, the images and thoughts of the departed Adam flooding his conciousness. As soon as his feet touched the polished black floors, he stumbled forward, falling to his knees and vomiting up more bile. "Jeez, you alright?" I asked him, no longer trying to hide the concern in my voice. "I´ll live... Side effects from the death of evil." "Well, hurry up. I´m starting to get nervous." Indigo flew over my head, searching the room for an exit. It might be a while until we figure this one out. -:- <i>So many years I stood among the thoughts and tears of those I served. Among my own I was alone through my own doing. All the years I walked unknown behind the faces I assumed. Powerless to clear your mind of what you´d suffered. I´d only come here seeking peace. I´d only come here seeking me. It seems I came to leave. </i> At the bottom of a dark pit, covered in hand crafted symbols, a decrepit being lay on the cold floor. A dark tangle of hair covering it´s head, whilst only rags covered the rest of it´s body. The smell of human waste had become a familiar smell in the dank pit, which, at the bottom measured only 4 metres square, with what looked like a doorway in one wall. Air moved slowly down in this cruel prison, the only ventilation coming from the lungs of the being trapped at the bottom of this hellhole. Nothing stirred, nothing moved, except for the minute up and down motion of the human´s chest, allowing air to move. Light flooded into the chamber, waking the human, now revealing itself to be female, her quiet blue eyes set like sapphires in her pale face. He tiny frame had become more noticeable, her skin hanging from her bones, no muscle tone remaining. She grabbed at her chest, the throbbing pain that she felt every day had somehow subsided, weaker than before. The doorway in the wall had opened up, filling the pit with light, only a black shadow appearing in the light. Time seemed to slow in here, where a day would feel like only a minute had passed outside. There was no way of proving it, no way of knowing, no information leaked into this horrific cell. This shadow had become a regular visitor, either to deliver her the tiny amount of food needed to sustain her being, or deliver the enormity of pain, an endless torture, with only one purpose in mind: to break her physical body in as many ways as possible. But this time she thought something was different. Something was here, that shouldn´t be, and that she would die before she would find out. -:- You wanna revolution?

More goodness. It´s been awile and i´ve had these building up dust. (super crazy electronic dust) -:- 25: Arania sat in his bunk, staring at the massive computer he had managed to design after scrounging spare parts from around the station. Having utilised the Dom´Kavash technology on board his ship he had managed, with great difficulty, to hack into the colony news service. That was what was only what was on the main screen; Prometheus was on the left, monitoring the hacked Rheinland MilNet system. And on the right, was the complete security network of the citadel station. Having seen viator disappear into a chamber with his little robot, he decided to leave well enough alone, and shut of monitoring to that section, deciding best to leave him in peace. Turning his attention to the captured Rheinland convoy, he decided to have some fun with them. He turned off the lights, watching in amusement over the rad-cam how they all scurried around trying to find the lights. Laughing more than once when they all ran into each other and toppled over into one big heap. The speakers crackled to life as an alert popped on the screen: Cloaking System Disrupted, estimated time to re-activation- 30 seconds. "Crimson Seven I know your in there and I would preferably like an explanation for your quick and hasty departure from my company otherwise I may have to force a landing which I can do so easily even with your ´defences´. I have more than a few beam weapons you know" the speaker crackled. "Prometheus, open bay three for our new friend, and open the Bulkhead between bays three and two, keep it all vacuum sealed though!" He began typing on the main console, leaving a message on the CNS: ”This is your last warning, the Dom´Kavash are coming, and are not going to stop at killing us, they will destroy every last remnant of the human civilisation. Everyone must flee from any sort of solar object they can find. Go to Galileo and Kepler, hide in the dark matter clouds, go to Magellan, and hide in the barrier. Run from any star you see” Ending the massage, he gathered up Araminta and a small Dom´Kavash rifle he had found in his ship, and set off towards the Captured Rheinland convoy. As he neared the door of the bay, Araminta glowed brighter and let off a brilliant shower of red powder, the floated around Arania like a ball. "Prometheus, open the door" The door opened with a hiss, and Arania walked into the bay. As expected, somebody shot at him, but it wasn’t the Rheinlanders, or Dragonborn, it was a corsair. As the shot impacted, there was a brilliant display of Fire as the shot hit, not Arania, but the shield around him. Arania rased his gun and fired a single shot at Hera, hitting her in the stomach, and proceeding through Hera´s symbiont and through her back, finally hitting the wall. Hera collapsed. Arania turned to the shocked Rheinland officers, and tossed them a data cube containing his conversation with Viator. "That should explain everything" he said, and beckoned Dragonborn over to the door. "Viator is a bit tied up at the moment, dunno when he´ll be out." Arania said "There is a med room down he hall, next to that is an empty crew module, I’m sure you’ll find it accommodating" Arania walked off, his last words before disappearing back into his cabin: "Prometheus, seal off Bay two, close bay three bulkhead, V-seal" A hiss was heard as the Rheinlanders were sealed in again. -:- You wanna revolution?
