Erm, guys (I´m British and a bit of consiparicist, so I do apologise for this if you feel hurt), No-one has been t the moon (IMHO). The Russians beat USA in every part of the space race up until 1969. Major scientists (even from America) doubt it (though i cannot name any). Besides, wasn´t apollo supposed to have the same power as a pocket calculator?

Just to be acliche - but he Rolling Stones, The Beatles, The Kinks, The Who, Jimi Hendrix and the beginnings of Hard Rock (Deep Purple, Black Sabbath and Led Zeppelin all started in the late 60´s). I also like Pink Floyd and the Moody Blues. Gerry and the Pacemakers - that´s about it.

Arcon, my sister is at Bristol UWE - I know, not the same, but she lives closer to Bristol Campus than UWE. I had a friend at Leeds Uni, she didn´t like it and anyone who wants to study in Southampton or Portsmouth is barmy (unless they are southerners). You should study in the north - much more fun, and a lot less expensive - apparently

Good Gripe, man - another gripe from me, as he just pissed me off. One of my lecturers is punishing people who BOTHERED TO TURN UP - how? By cancelling the seminars on a Tuesday and forcing evryone to go to a Friday Seminar. I know who Hitler was re-incarnated into now. On a positive note, I passed last semester - Wahay!!!!

I can lend a hand if needs be - I am doing a module at Uni this semester using Dreamweaver, and I know HTML script. Have a basic grasp of both standard and animated gifs. However, I don´t know JavaScript or how to make Flash animations.

Pink Flamingo was terrible, similar to a place a place in Preston actually - Ineeded to be out of my skull b4 even entertaining the merest possibility of entering. As for ending in someone elses bed, I think I did it twice and still woke up alone in my room - wandering which way was up and which way was wrong. Y´know the sorta thing? It was a dive, but when you´re drunk WHO CARES?

Freight,Coca-Col DID have Cocaine in it - can´t remember when it was taken iut though. My addiction? Ginger Beer -mind you not at your level Aod- I only drink 10 litres a week.

Heres my gripe Systems that have been around for 10 years, and everyone involved in said system knows theres a problem and can´t be bothered to deal with it. The University of Central Lancashire Timetabling system - thats what. My Monday is crammed, and I have 5 hours between lectures on Tuesdays. Oh well,it could be worse,I could have no time to do assignments. Another thing..... Oh I can´t be bothered <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

I only remember going into Union 1 and 2 (original names eh?) once each- I spent most of my time in Lonsdale Bar and then either Eclipse or Pink Flamingo b4 waking up the next morning in my own bed and wandering exactly how I managed to get there.... <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> BTW: Sorry for my abscence and bringing this thread back up - been two weeks since I´ve had access to the net.

Since when have Linkin Park and Blink 182 been lighter than the might might Nirvana? Have you heard Come as you are? Have you listenedto Hybrid Theory? Sorry, what I meant to say was that they are all very loud bands. Nirvana aren´t particularly heavy, it is just most of the songs people know are very very loud (Teen Spirit, Breed, Territorial Pissings etc.) Heart-Shaped Box and Come as you are are relatively quiet, but NIRVANA ROCK (although there are and were better bands)

Danny John Jules now does kiddies progs in the UK - how sad, he´s in storymakers (I´m a student, that is how I know) <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> Now, an RD movie,I know on e had been in the piopeline for about 10 years, I also knew they were filming in OZ. I was, however, under the impression that it was in post-production stages. Incidentally, any sightings of the cast in TV and film could be interesting, like the Blade 2, Tomb Raider and Doctors (Craig Charles played a cop) could be intriguing.

Indy, why not store them somewhere safe, and when your old, decrepit and poor, you can start a museum. In 10 years time non-one will ever believe that 3.5&quot; floppies existed, let alone dos or an earlier version of Windows than XP. You could charge a lot of money showing off these things. Besides,I myself have a box somehwere in my world fullof the same sorts stuff you have - even the original Lotus Suite and Corel Draw programs, and a load of coverdisks.

Well, the weather report I saw this morning just before trekking into Uni said it was CURRENTLY snowing in Preston - so the beeb have it mightily wrong,it is glorious here, almost summer -so that means a blizzard tonight (which the beeb also said was happening - or at least going to)

My life story is hidden in here somewhere. But I am currently in Preston, via Lancaster, Lincoln, Penrith, Carlisle, Jersey and Deby (Gromit and I may have met <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle>

Asceaz, your sister is listening to the Black Eyed Peas, I have the album (an abhoration in my collection, but there are some good songs on it). But most music today doesn´t deserve to see the light of day.
