i was just wondering if the ship on the frontpage of TLR is a new model for evo 1.28 - because it looks fantastic Quote 68/116: "Smith & Wesson — the original point and click interface."

i didn´t mean to be accusatory - but from what i understood, it just sounded like you didn´t want to be seen or detected - which is what a cloak is. EDIT : clearly i misunderstood what was said. i´d be interested to see if it was possible - some of the systems in freelancer are beautiful Edited by - the_darkness on 5/25/2004 2:44:22 AM

hmm, that´s weird. are you using any mods? if so : first back up all your save games - they´re inside the freelancer folder in your my games folder in your my documents folder then install freelancer SDK 1.3 - which you can download here at TLR then re-activate your mods, and copy your savegames back in but that is if you´re using mods - even if you aren´t the SDK fixes problems very often Quote 68/116: "Smith & Wesson — the original point and click interface."

well, i went to see it on saturday. in one word - pathetic. but that is my opinion, go see it for yourself. however, if you want a true experience then go see a movie i saw after it - the cooler. that´s right, troy was so bad i had to go and get a remedy afterwards - a good movie and a good couple of beers Quote 68/116: "Smith & Wesson — the original point and click interface."

oh i have never had viruses from over the net (that i know of, true!)..... apart from the time in yr 7 when a friend put a virus on cd and installed it on my comp during a LAN session.... the next morning there was *nothing* on the computer - i was pretty annoyed btw, where in aus are you from esquilax? EDIT : okay, only one virus - keendownloader or something Edited by - the_darkness on 5/21/2004 12:40:00 AM

okay, i´m just getting the AVG firewall that chips recommended above then. thnx

if this is a virus thread, i´ve just got a question a firewall - do i really need one? i´ve never had one on my computer, and i´ve never had any problems with it - no viruses or bugs. my friends say i´m incredibly lucky that i never got MSBlaster, because i have never, ever updated XP is it worthwhile getting a firewall?

i don´t think that the scientists have actually realised what´s going on. the scientists are saying all this stuff *is* this way - whereas they are actually measuring stuff that is millions or billions of years old, they don´t know what´s going on at the moment - it´s all too far away. for all we know, it might already be the opposite, which is, as aurora said, it took for ages to do those last HSC exams
-
the problem with all this stuff is launching something with radioactive material inside it - if it explodes on take-off, it´s like a ICBM, and spreads areas in radioactive dust but it´s a good idea and avoids, as the article says, cruddy hollywood films with bruce willis in them

musicmatch jukebox is good at converting music files - you can create mp3´s and transform .wav´s to .mp3´s i think the current version can even do wma, but i haven´t got it yet
