Hey meph its me <img src=smilies/icon_smile.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> well anyway , i use this basic rule for scaling ships. 1) import a ship as big is you want your model to be. 2) scale down your ship so it is as big as the imported ship. 3) delete the imported ship and scale your ship up to 40 - 50 times (i tough it was somewhere near this value last time checked)

that might work , like the transports , they have a special mount called HpCargo01. you can these hardpoints internal make items and mount them onto it , of course it takes allot of scripting

verry handy tool , but my method is a quick and easy , and it also presses the mod sise since you dont have to ad new .CMP files

in the SHIPARCH.ini add this line to your battleship shield_link = l_fighter_shield01, HpMount, HpCloak01 hp_type = hp_fighter_shield_generator, HpCloak01 this should do it , since all ships have an extra HP with them (can only mount light fighter shields tough , but if you are a bit convenient you can let it mount all shields you want <img src=smilies/icon_smile_wink.gif width=15 height=15 border=0 align=middle> )

i don´t know how to post pictures but here is a link , hell i don´t even know how to post a ling with these closed brackets don´t showing up. oh well , here is the link http://img38.imageshack.us/my.…8&image=corvette2.png it is a rogue corvette class , slow , good armor and allot of firepower. no thrusters tough but it has a shield. (think of it as between the very heavy fighters and the gunboats) it has only 600 polys , don´t use mesh smooth and if i want it smoother , i do it by hand

can you make hull modifiers? imagine you have different kind of armor classes , and you want the gun to do more hull damage 1 kind of armor then to the other kind
